I buried a time capsule in my back yard in the late 80's to early 90's and this is what I found. I was in Boy Scouts from 1988 to 1989 so put's it past that time.
This was so cool to watch! We buried a time capsule in my school when we graduated back in 96 and dug it up for our 25th year high school reunion. Held up pretty well as our homeroom teacher (remember those?) put forth his own funds into it and got us a corrosion resistant metal capsule for it, and boy did it work too! It was wild to see everything inside looking like it had just been placed inside.
Time capsules are always fun, it's exciting to see all the buried treasure after so long! I once dug up some very old strange action figure in my yard, what's creepy is the small knife/sword in his hand was made out of real metal, rusty, and sharp for a toy. Keep up the great work!

Few years back I took my metal detector to my parents and dug up so many toys that somehow got lost in the yard and had a blast doing it.I am curious as to what made you decide to unearth it at this time or another.

I had that Leech He-Man figure. The gimmick is that he could suction to walls and spit water out of the hole in his mouth via the button on his back.
