We ALMOST Got Trampled By An Elephant on Safari

While we were eating at the table an elephant was eating pods from the ground and as it approached we were told to stay very still, which we did. To CLARIFY, no one fed the elephant and no one threw anything away. A pod fell from the tree behind where we were sitting, this is what the elephant was eating all the time. The elephant, who had poor vision, was startled when he encountered us. He then swung his body and head and hit Shane and Steven. We respected the territory of the letters and this is their HOME. We love these amazing animals and support African tourism. We were lucky!
