A lot of people saying that she's got her dad's talent, and that's true I guess, but you know, Paris has gone into a type of music her dad didn't do - she's a guitarist and a singer, and she has her own individual style. I totally agree, I was thinking that the whole time listening to her song, which today was the first time I had heard her sing at all! She is really great, no one could ever say she is just copying her father and or any of the other Jacksons for that matter! Even though I do like the other Jacksons music, I have always felt that they was so much alike that except for their voices it was sometimes like they were all the same! Mostly because their sound is so much alike, musically, more then voices, though some of them sometimes do sound alike too!
But Paris seems to have created her own sound, which is very good, so no one can say she is just copying the rest of the Jackson to cash in on not only her name but the Jackson sound too!

@@azora_ritz actually I actually did when she performed live with her boyfriend. She didn’t sound like this live, and you can see it for yourself in their FB show. She struggled with maintaining her pitch, tone, and even key though some issue could have been nerves I suppose. Musically speaking (at that time at least) , he was by far the more talented of the two. Unfortunately, you could watch in FB as her team were attempting to force him into the back despite being the lead vocalist as she willingly let it happen (that photoshoot was horrifying and I must say he handled it with pose). She, herself was willing to step back and try to let him shine, but the team she chose that had worked with her father was pushing for it to be all about her from the get go, and sadly we could see this. You could tell he felt it as well but was likely wanting her to handle it due to her personal relationship with the team. Paris also noticed she was off during these performances and admits it which is INCREDIBLY important. They mention it on the FB show. To be honest though, those are things that can be learned and in a typical case they are taught before working in an album. In other cases, artists rely on auto tune, and that too is okay as it is part of their brand. Since when does autotune, equal bad? They industry has been doing it for years, or taking bits and pieces from various recordings and slicing them together to sound best. It is called studio magic for a reason.
I think she has talent, and seems lovely. She just needs to actually work with said talent and try opposed to relying on her father’s work it the people that made his career as they are seemingly more into it for the gimmick. It seems like she only worked with people he works with that are no longer hugely involved with the industry in most cases. Plus, she had a pre-existing relationship with them to begin with so I am sure that also made it a bit harder as you don’t want work to interfere with your private life. She has potential, but don’t act like someone else is wrong for not pretending it is in par with others. Does this sound like a track a label would make as a debut single? No, honestly but it doesn’t mean she is not talented.
@@azora_ritz to be clear, I am a big fan of her as a person and of her talent. Just as the rest of us, however, she needed work at one point. That too is okay. She has the potential to be great someday. Perhaps that duo just wasn’t meant for her. She can find a way to shine in her own way when she is ready. I do know that with her current team.
I think both Paris and Prince, have turned into lovely adults as people. In fact, his level of kindness and professionalism were something I admire. I mean we all struggle, but imagine if every mistake and slip up were in front of the world! They deserve some time to focus in them. That being said, it doesn’t take away someone else’s right to an opinion. I will say something’s should be kept to themselves, but at least the commentator wasn’t down right cruel. It is sad that we live in a world where we are grateful someone isn’t flat out mean tho.
