the funny thing is all 40 people in jersey made fun of this show constantly... like when we found out it was getting filmed everyone went out of their way to fuck up the shots and make sure they had barely any usable footage outside. that's why there's so many shots of them getting out of the car 😭

To be clear you don't NEED to be a millionaire to be allowed to live in Jersey.
As long as you are a British citizen you can visit, stay and work there as long as you want.
HOWEVER a tiny one bedroom flat is £1,200 per month, unfurnished, with no bills, and the food probably costs more than London because it is a tiny island full of rich people... 😂
and the population is smaller than my council, I seen more people in my wee town than the people running that island.
Jerseys got their own employment regulations, you’d have to apply for our social security system (national insurance), plus a lot of jobs/ industries are unavailable to newcomers, same goes for housing, you have to be here like 10 years to even rent some forms of housing.
Just made a cup of tea at 8pm and now gonna stay up probably watching memeulous until 3 in the morning

Like your stuff, couldn't watch this! Not sure you could make Jersey that exciting! Don't get me wrong, I've been in jersey a lot to work and I like the place as it's laid back and quiet but not a lot happens there.
I was there during the one bit of trouble when England lost to Portugal and there was a minor riot. Was in a bar and left before the end of the match in disgust due to refs decisions and went back to the hotel. Heard some shouting about 11.30pm, was big news the following morning - essentially, a couple of scuffles and a small fight with bruised egos was the extent - most exciting thing I saw in all my time over there!
