The difference too from mma stand up boxing and boxing in a boxing match is that when blocking punches in MMA there using MMA gloves which are a lot smaller then Boxing gloves which makes it easier to punch through the guard. but with boxing gloves Connor will have a very hard time landing punches on Floyd in my opinion. most especially Floyd is the greates defensive boxer ever. I just don't see connor landing on Floyd. They should make the fight a boxing match but with MMA gloves. Then this fight would really be interesting and much better match watch. IMO

mcgregor is a pretty strong puncher/ striker in mma where fighter are not really good at punching but boxers are a much higher level in punching
the smartest way, and the middle ground way,is to have to go at kickboxing.
Give Mcgregor won't be at a complete disadvantage to traditional style striking, and Mayweather won't have to learn all the ins and outs of ground game.
Both would be in a setting comfortable to them. Because you can tell when Conor was sparring that he wanted to throw kicks.
