I think she has a lot of potential, but there’s something stagnant in her voice & energy. I can’t pinpoint it, but it’s obvious. I think if she got some one on one vocal coaching & direction in stage presence, she could be really good. She does have a good look though, but what she did at the end could potentially ruin her chances in the industry because no one would want to work with someone who acts like that.
Funnily enough, the voice was good and strong. Her trouble was that she couldn't keep in tune at all. I'd suggest recording with autotune but her behaviour shows that she doesn't have the personality to take the endless rejections that are part of show business.
I agree, her actual voice could be quite good but unfortunately if someone has tuning issues then it's a no go. You can't teach it, it's something that has to come naturally.
I don't know what the judges were looking for but ,I heard what I wanted to hear and she sounded great, And no I'm not her friend or family but just a music lover.
The thing is, you don't know how she's been manipulated by the producers. She's most probably been put up on stage knowing that she's going to fail. It's for entertainment. It's not about the vulnerability of the contestants.
The girl at best has an okay voice; but that's about it. Its not particularly great but she would okay doing karaoke at best with her friends in a pub or a girls night out.. that's it..
CradleEpiscopalian56 Her mom was literally telling her that she wasn’t entitled to anything and that she was embarrassing herself and needs to learn how to handle rejection.
Why couldn’t they do the audition in private? I can’t imagine singing in front of the world, thinking one second everything is ok and then the judges buzzing me off like that. I wouldn’t throw a tantrum, but I’d feel so humiliated.
Sometimes we think a person is brat when she doesn’t know how to handle rejection or manage her anger. The truth is something is wrong with her and it’s obvious that her mom is aware of it
Aka a BRAT! Do you honestly think people are called brats when something is right with them? What's weird is people like you say that people are mistaken for putting a label on a person's behavior...to then go on to describe their behavior as precisely the thing the people labeled them as.
Notthefather I think they’re trying to say that it’s a deeper rooted issue than her just being a ‘brat’. Possibly something to do with her mental health and possibly some insecurities that caused her to be more upset at herself than towards the judges. I would understand if she felt embarrassed for her actions and then lashed out more in an attempt to get away. Of course, it doesn’t make sense in general, but when someone is struggling mentally and is emotional, it could be a defense mechanism for them. Maybe, maybe not. Either way, I hope she’s doing better now. Her actions were wrong, but to assume that the thing wrong with her is that she is just a brat in general can differ from what the specific ‘wrong’ really is.
The problem is, you see that the person is emotionally unstable and you start following her with a camera? I think it was too much stress for one girl with a dream.
Gabriel Soares you follow the girl with the camera because that is your job and that is what you were told to do. You are not a pshycologist to have to deal with a girl having a tantrum. Btw that same emotionally unstable girl signed the contract and agreed to being filmed when she entered this contest and live show. If she couldn't deal with it, then she should have stayed home.
Uhm no. Her mom knew she would do this. Hence, she has acted like this before. Her mom said she promised she "wouldn't do this". So...this isn't just stress, honey.
She can’t get her away so she acts like a brat. The judges were a bit rude, but in the end the girl reacts in a spoiled manner. Four no’s and she thinks it’s the end of the world. Shaves half her head and thinks she’s badass.
CrNessata exactly! I don't understand why some people blame it on the show or the judges. It is not their fault that she messed up her audition and couldn't deal with it like a normal adult, but acting like spoilt little brat
She could've picked a song that fits her.... but at least she's lucky for having such amount of support from her loved ones. She must have been rejected maaaaaaaany times that's why she's frustrated and unstable. She needs help and I'm not talking about a ''holistic vocal coach''.

So hard to hear "NO" 4 times in a row, when youve NEVER EVER heard that word before!
Simon's eye roll when she goes for the second verse.
A good example of thinking you sound good singing along to the song itself in the shower vs when you're all by yourself
Whitney said NOT TODAY SATAN

I love how Simon instantly grabbed Demi's hand
She is so blessed to have all those people supporting her and who loves her. She was disrespectful and childish.
Celisse Willis she needs work on staying in tune great singer just not in tune
Funnily enough, the voice was good and strong. Her trouble was that she couldn't keep in tune at all. I'd suggest recording with autotune but her behaviour shows that she doesn't have the personality to take the endless rejections that are part of show business.
I agree, her actual voice could be quite good but unfortunately if someone has tuning issues then it's a no go. You can't teach it, it's something that has to come naturally.
Charlienmeg bad song choice too. Her voice strains on the higher notes. You really gotta come with it if you sing Whitney!
Celisse Willis Absolutely - terrible song choice. Not everyone is a Whitney and luckily not everyone needs to try.
It was a no from Mother Nature
J Coulee 😂😂😂
And from my ears too
Lmao
Swi Tee lol
Well that was Whitney Houston herself telling her to stop butchering her song
I don't know what the judges were looking for but ,I heard what I wanted to hear and she sounded great, And no I'm not her friend or family but just a music lover.
The thing is, you don't know how she's been manipulated by the producers.
She's most probably been put up on stage knowing that she's going to fail.
It's for entertainment. It's not about the vulnerability of the contestants.
She needs to work on two things
1. Pitch
2. Breathing to sustain her notes
...and 3. She needs to learn how to sing.
4. Attitude...
Danielle N I agree with #2. I was listening to her breathing and saying something is not right. And the pitch, I could easily recognize that.
5. Not being a dick.
6. Self control
7. Maturity
her mom is the only one with a brain.
She should do cardio, that song requires a lot of air
Lol even her family cringed.
The thunderstorm makes this so much more dramatic than it already is
The girl at best has an okay voice; but that's about it. Its not particularly great but she would okay doing karaoke at best with her friends in a pub or a girls night out.. that's it..
Bless her heart. She brought a middle school talent show to an X-Factor audition. That tantrum was not a good look, either.
She has a sweet mother. Poor mom.
Sweet, enabling and delusional.
CradleEpiscopalian56 Her mom was literally telling her that she wasn’t entitled to anything and that she was embarrassing herself and needs to learn how to handle rejection.
I blame her for encouraging her that she could sing
Why couldn’t they do the audition in private? I can’t imagine singing in front of the world, thinking one second everything is ok and then the judges buzzing me off like that. I wouldn’t throw a tantrum, but I’d feel so humiliated.
I love the fact that Simon's first instinct when hearing that thunder clap was grabbing Demi'a arm
Sometimes we think a person is brat when she doesn’t know how to handle rejection or manage her anger. The truth is something is wrong with her and it’s obvious that her mom is aware of it
yes. we need to be easier on people, even if it is the internet.
@@notthefather3919 still wrong
If theres something wrong then she sould obviously be looked after tho
It is not their fault that she messed up her audition and couldn't deal with it like a normal adult, but acting like spoilt little brat
antonela bakavic True but the judges dont act like normal adults either theyre too rude
I don’t know why she is so angry. She didn’t have to watch the video like the rest of us.
Oh my god! She’s acting like a spoilt child when they don’t get their own way!
She could've picked a song that fits her.... but at least she's lucky for having such amount of support from her loved ones. She must have been rejected maaaaaaaany times that's why she's frustrated and unstable. She needs help and I'm not talking about a ''holistic vocal coach''.
Heidi Matsumoto Pfffft
Holistic vocal coach
We need to call in Ariel. She'd make a great coach.
Lol about the holistic vocal coach
She needs anger management therapy and a good old fashioned over the knee ass whooping

It honestly looks like her monitors were switched off. After Zoe Alexander's truth came out, I wouldn't be surprised if this was set up as well.
Wow, and I thought Zoe Alexander from the UK series was scary.

Olivia Gordon lol there’s a difference between the X Factor and Burger King 😂
Another "Snowflake" probably with the upbringing that everyone is a winner & all people deserve a trophy. She probably believes she is equal with those who worked hard, trained, and spent hrs of practice. The real world is such a BIAAAATCH LOL

All she has to do is practice for a year and come back.but that tantrum blew that for a next chance.
MEthat LovesCats She never will be ready to take on Whitney.
exactly... her poor mom..
She burned every possible bridge to success with her fit. Do you think anyone would ever hire her after that? No way.

@@Pat4HUMANITY she sings better then Whitney.........
I don't understand why judges reject someone with a decent voice that clearly has potential simply because they think they're not good enough. Isn't the whole point to discover people with potential and take them on a journey to find themselves as artists and refine their craft? She obviously has a good voice and a good look - she just needed mentoring and someone to invest in her to bring out her fullest potential.
She was so off-key.

Ok, we changed our minds. You have four yesses. We'll make you a star.
It amazes me how they pick the hardest songs ever recorded to sing. Like If they pick a song they could actually handle and do it better they would have at least a fighting chase.
According to Zoe Alexander, the producers ultimately decide what songs contestants will sing.
I’m dead ☠️ lol she lifted that chair up like she was on Monday night raw 😂😂😂😂
She’ll never make it with that attitude
Sadly, several contestants had that same entitled attitude and it undid any points they scored with their performance. 🤦🏻♀️
Or with that voice.
