MR is the way to go. Love it. On my Pico4 first, but Quest2 has it and next Quest3. Wonder how the Pico5 is gonna handle it.

are the objects actually that wobbly or is it just in the recording

this was recorded on Virtual Desktop which is pretty bad for MR.
Real MR standalone apps do work much better and do not have this jitter.
As it's more exaggerated on the recording too.

The quest 3 would look much more advanced and it will make much more sense as it would look like it was just pulled into vr.

One year later and for 150€ add, i Hope for Meta it will look better for sure 😂
But it's Always important to remember that a cheap pico 4 do mixed reality content since 1 year now with more than 20 apps available today , including Space computing and for 399€ only.
But waiting a possible Pico5 , of course quest3 will be a cool device for those who didn't go into MR yet 🤝

Two things I have noticed doing this video.
We need some extra sensors to better anchor holograms and eliminate jitter.
Digital items needs to drop shadows in real world to make it believable.

About spatial anchors, we just received them 2 weeks ago on pico 4 if i'm not wrong ( manual room setup add end of september ) , and the kind of wobbling we see here in seethrough were patched a long Time ago.
Have you some Idea about Time of this video capture ?
I know ALVR/alxr dev do some test about MR avatars since a long Time now, maybe it's some old stuff 💭
But of course depth sensor is needed for next headset ( i Ask myself if a external module Can bé add 🤔)

@@picofrance I'm using 5.8 FW and it might have gotten worse after the update. Or maybe it's worse because of the virtual desktop. It's not only for MR but it seems like whole room tracking got worse in PCVR in general.

Immersed in full MR or with portal is Space computing since décembre 2022 👍 ( like qPro for exemple )
