- What is a Clean Slate?
A clean slate offers new start; one that's made by clearing the record and removing the evidence of past mistakes. It offers the opportunity to put the past behind you, and to start again.
Cleaning the slate is about undoing the knots that keep us stuck, overwhelmed, exhausted, or going around in circles. It's about shedding the weight of what’s too complex, unresolved, or just plain wrong.
Cleaning the slate is about dropping the heavy stuff - the mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical marks of the past that we carry around habitually and unnecessarily.
Cleaning the slate is about creating space; releasing the things and people that clog your living space, impede your life, cloud your thinking, overwhelm your emotions, or deplete your spiritual energy.
How to Know If You Need A Clean Slate:
👉🏿 When your life feels out-of-control, or you feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled most of the time,
👉🏿 When you think more than you sleep because your mind won't stop racing,
👉🏿 When you're exhausted from running around in circles trying to make things better, and things are not getting better,
👉🏿 You recognize that you are cynical and/or bitter about everything and everyone,
👉🏿 When you are beating yourself up or holding yourself hostage to poor choices and bad decisions of the past, your home, closet, basement, car, garage, purse, or desk is cluttered or disorganized.
👉🏿 You are carrying a lot of weight - mental, emotional, and physical - and most of it is not yours.
👉🏿 You are unhappy or simply tired of the way things are now.
👉🏿 You feel stuck or drained and complain about it
👉🏿 You want something different, but don’t have the time or energy to figure out what it is - nor how to make it happen.
You can clean your slate with one big sweep, or with a step-by-step process.
In either case, the steps will be similar:
Let go of overwhelm
Stop making excuses
Nourish your body and mind from the inside out
Hit the restart button . . . slowly
