Albert: Delicious. *_I LOVE LENTILS_* - another favorite staple of mine. Once again, I've made something like this
(this, actually) but without the eggs. Here goes, wish me luck. Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
I've made this recipe as well (without the eggs), and I agree, it's an absolutely delicious meal! Definitely going to try it with eggs now!
Sounds great! Much love :)
A good change up or addition would be some cooked rice added or pouring this soup over top of the rice then the egg, yumm! 🙂
I made the soup and really liked it! Thanks for sharing!❤️
Glad you liked it!! Much love :)
Looks so delicious! I'll have to try adding eggs as I've never had my lentejas like this! Rico! 😋❤️
So good! Much love :)
I love spanish food!... so good and not heavy!!
Much love :)
This looks really good! Need to get a couple things in so I can make it up tomorrow. Can't forget the fresh bread, too! Thank you for sharing this with us. 💜🍲🥖
Hope you enjoy! Much love :)
I’ve poached eggs, but never cooked them in the broth of a dish they’re part of. I love that technique!
So good! Much love :)
Made this last week, skipped the eggs and doubled some the veg/spices. It was so amazingly delicious, hearty, and smelled divine. Thank you so much for sharing!
Sounds great! Much love :)
Always looking for a good lentil recipe-just found one. Thanks
Much love :)
Made this for Easter for my fam, and they were impressed. Thank you for sharing my man. Much love from a Mexican family in Oregon. ❤.
Much love :)
Perfect for lunch on a cold day - I'm making it! 👍
Sounds great! Much love :)
Looks like I want to make some right now 😋
Looks delish!!🇺🇸
Much love :)
Made this for dinner tonight. It was so delicious 😋
My husband is from Argentina, and his Mom would make a Lentejas recipe similar without the egg. My husband thought this was fantastic and said it's a keeper 😉
God Bless and Thank you!
Happy to hear that! Much love :)
Love that you share recipes in a slower voice. 😊
Much love :)
Deliciosas lentejas me encantan una comida muy necesaria para los niños y para toda la familia❤
Eso si!! Saludos :)
I love the taste part.😍
Much love :)
I LOVE Lentils! Never tried any kind of lentil stew/soup with eggs and this looks very inviting. I can't wait to try it! Thank you!
Much love :)
I made this today for lunch. Easy and good!
Happy to hear that! Much love :)
Thank you. We have a similar dish in Morocco (minus the eggs). Big fan of your recipes!
Sounds great! Much love :)
Looks absolutely delicious! Great job as always my friend 👍
Thank you 😋
I love a lot of your. Recipes. But could you do more with various meats, like lamb, beef, pork and chicken. Many of your recipes have fish but you seem to emphasize on vegetarian which is great. But many of us are omnivores lol. Thanks again. Take care.
AWESOME WHOLENESS 😋
Much love :)
Looks delicious and easy to make. ❤
Thank you! Much love :)
looks real good I have to try this one, thanks for sharing
Much love :)
Made this tonight... Awesome! Thanks so much for the recipe!
Happy to hear that! Much love :)
Just made this a few days ago from a Vegan CZcamsr, only difference was that instead of green bell pepper it was a red bell pepper and no cumin but a teaspoon of turmeric and of course, no egg. Used submersible blender to finish it off and drizzled servings with olive oil. I'll do your version next and probably blend it too.
Sounds great! Much love :)
looks amazing
Thank you! Much love :)
This looks delicious! I had a madras lentil stew today which had ginger and cream and a few different seasonings. I’ll definitely give your recipe a try.
Sounds great! Much love :)
That's a very nice recipe, thank you)))
Much love :)
Nice I was looking what I can cook and I seen this and again I’m gonna make it!
It’s delicious! 😋
Happy to hear that!! Much love :)

Much love :)
Made this tonight! Very tasty! 😋 I made too much, no problem, enough for tomorrow 😉 I didn't have brown lentils, so used green. 😁
Sounds great! Much love :)
Uhhhh! I change my liste for eastern.....😃
can you use another vinegar in place of the sherry vinegar? It's hard to get where I live. Would balsamic work?
Red wine or white wine vinegar would work best :) Much love
Would it be ok to red whine vinegar? Instead of the sherry vinegar?
Many cooks claim rice wine vinegar is a good substitute for sherry vinegar. Champagne vinegar is another that you hear. I have used rice wine vinegar in recipes from this channel with great success.
@@wrayven thank you for the tip. I’ll have to go and get some rice wine vinegar.
If you refrigerate it for another day, would you put the eggs in the next day when re-heating? ... (I'm sure this is common sense for some, but I dont trust my cooking enough to guess! : )
I would add the eggs when reheating :) Much love
What would be thr best substitute for sherry vinegar?
Red wine vinegar :) Much love!
@@SpainonaFork Muchas gracias!
❤
Much love :)
In which breakfast can be anything with an egg on top (not a plug for Adam Ragusea).
what can you substitute for the sherry vinegar?
Red wine vinegar :) Much love!
Looks so good! But I may have to use just egg whites…sigh
Sounds great! Much love :)
I can't tolerate cumin, do you think if I left it out it would ruin this recipe?
No, it wouldn't ruin it but it wouldn't have the same depth of flavour 🙃
I like toasted cumin seeds in food but dislike cumin powder in recipes. Weird !
of course it wouldnt ruin it. you can replace it with anything you like, or just leave it out.
You could switch it out for chili powder, taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade), curry powder, garam masala, coriander powder or a combination of two of them. Other spices that pair well with lentils are thyme, rosemary & sage. Again, you could use one or a combination of them. You could also finish off the stew with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Hope that helps! 💜🍲
I find that a bit of tumeric and smoked paprika together add a bit of fragrance while not being as strong as cumin. If you do decide to try cumin but can't stand the aroma, you can also try buying whole cumin seeds, toasting them on a hot pan, then crushing them - it smells a lot less strong than the powdered stuff. Cheers!
Do you eat Chili Concarne? Most have it. Just dont dump it all in .
he doesnt eat meat
That's a dish from Mexico / Latin America, and the focus of this channel are meals that originate in Spain. Not to mention he doesn't often use meat, so I don't think we'll be seeing that one here!
Make something with red meat and eat it in a video
Why should he? Go make your own damn video, troll.
