why would you even need a fingerprint sensor? I've never had a problem unlocking my phone with Face ID, just improve face ID than put touch ID back

If the base 16 doesn‘t get at least 90 hz refresh rate its a big disappointment. 900 $ late 2024 phone and 60 hz would be ridiculous!
And if not 90 Hz, at the bare minimum, at least 3.1 USBC.
Sadly there are people who will still buy whatever apple puts out even though you could buy an iphone from a few generations ago and it would work for 99.9% of all workloads. Why bother innovating when people will buy in increments?

Iphone 13 was the best iphone apple ever made. Many people who have 13 promax don't bother upgrading to any model. All these gimmicks and theories but in practicality 13 pro max carries the day

There should be a new measurement call 'Picture quality per Megapixel' for better testing between cameras. Because many people says that more megapixels doesn't always bring better picture quality

What about speaker upgrade??? Ive had the 11 pro since 2021 and since like 2 months ago the speakers starting going so bad even when I have it nearly full volume with speaker I could barely hear others
So, if one wants to have the best cameras, they have to go for the 6.9" Pro Max version. Just like Samsung reserves it for the Ultra. Why? Do people really want a 6.9" phone? I'm not sure you can even call it a phone at that point.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I keep track of all credible iPhone 16 (and 17) leaks & rumors, and this video is by far the most exhaustive one that I have seen. I only have one comment:
2/15 (0:55) - The 12% increase in the iPhone 16 Pro Max's main camera sensor might seem minimal, but its impact is everything but minimal. Apple is upgrading the main sensor from the Sony IMX803 to IMX903. The IMX903 introduces a brand new technology - The Stacked CMOS Image Sensor Technology with 2-Layer Transistor Pixel, which is meant to prevent underexposure and overexposure in settings with a combination of bright and dim illumination, and also enable high-quality, low-noise images even in low-light settings. This is HUGE since even the 15 Pro Max's low-light performance still leaves a lot to be desired and this sensor should go a long way in addressing these issues since, according to Sony, this new sensor can absorb roughly double the amount of light compared to conventional technology.
That's why I think the main sensor upgrade is one of the most important yet underrated upgrades to the iPhone this year.
There is a video about this sensor on the Sony Global CZcams channel from May 11, 2023 that explains this technology pretty well. I hope to see you cover it in more detail in your next video about the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

@@andrewstevenson8075yup. They will continue to use their optimization to their advantage. They could give us something highly optimized AND with a high capacity battery. Hell, samsung gives just as good battery life with a brighter, higher res screen. In a phone that's just as thin or thinner. So really, it's just a measure for apple to gouge us. Iphone could stomp the competition in terms of battery, but apple is happy to be slightly ahead or on par.
What for? The 15 Plus already lasts longer than any Samsung flagship.

Yup. If they don’t come out with a fantastically improved Siri that does some marvelous things with AI, it will be so disappointing. I suspect they’ll just release some gimmicky AI features like removing objects from photos.
It's been nothing new for years now. I'm just keeping the 13. Maybe in about 4 years from now the'll be a reason to upgrade.
I love my iPhone 15 pro! Upgraded from iPhone 11 and the changes in my day to day use are MASSIVE. One thing I can tell you as a person who was really not excited about the 15 pro models and didn’t want to get one and buy 13 pro instead: I love Dynamic Island and always on display! Never thought I’ll be using them but it’s actually very convenient! The sound quality is superb! Compared to muffled 11 and 12 pro speakers 🔊 The only thing that’s bothering me is that the phone turned out to be too small and narrow for me and the battery life sucks (might get 15 pro max instead)
I’ve decided not to wait too long for an upgrade anymore and get pro models only! If you’re a working professional (especially in graphics, design and video production) get yourself an upgrade and you’ll be surprised how much of your workflow/daily life improvement it’ll be!

I have the 15 pro now and looking to get the 16 pro due to a slightly bigger display, I think 6.3" is the sweet spot the 15 pro is ok but sometimes I find myself wanting a bigger display yet the 15 pro max is way too big, so 6.3 seems like the perfect size and I'm assuming it comes with a bigger battery as well.

The 15 pro could of been last year's way of greater proprietary Lightning connector with USB-C power then the Titanium if chargers are adaptable by the time being, since the iphone 16 pro or max will be in store's can't wait.

I was thinking about buying Iphone 15 but now Im wondering if I should wait until 16 to get those 2 extra buttons - they seem interesting.
The sensor might be 12% larger in diagonal measurement but the actual light capturing ability is covered by the area of the sensor which will go up more than 12%….
I’m poised to be buying the iPhone 16 Pro Max this time around. I currently have 14 Pro version. Given the many new and changed features anticipated on the 16 Pro max, I’m quite excited.

I think that it's a good thing that I was unable to get the 1TB model of the15pro as it was out of stock at my regular shop. I will hold on till Sept 2024 in anticipation of the 16pro!

There’s never going to be a fingerprint sensor,Face ID is way better and MOST people don’t want a lame fingerprint sensor

I’m really hoping the rumors of the iPhone 16 camera being made smaller is true as long as a standard thin case will lay flat. I tried the 15 pro and could not get over that huge camera bump sticking out past the case. So I went back to an iPhone 12 Pro. If they would bring back the leather case that lasts for years instead of the ‘eco friendly’ one that fall apart in a couple months (not sure how that save carbon emissions, seems like a rip off under the name a caring like usual with the green movement). I couldn’t care less about a phone getting higher image quality over the iPhone 12 Pro, they will never be more than a snap shot camera compared to my Leica. Even a Fujifilm well outdoes a cell phone, especially with a good lens. You can’t change physics with small sensors, AI and cropping.

Fast charging is great but few phones have the battery lifespan apple has. I had iphone 5s battery 8yrs old and still fair performance. I don't need super fast charging though it can be nice.

Meh bigger screen/ thinner bezels won't matter if the dynamic island is in the way. Making the action button equal sized to the volume button will just confuse people.
I'd rather see the telephoto get a larger sensor than the ultrawide. Also not happy with the larger sizes, especially if there are differences between the Pro and Pro Max.
Improvements are always welcomed!
What I hear, however, is:
- 2TB of storage - nice
- WiFi 7 - it's good for once not to trail behind for years!
- The biggest of all - faster charging (about time apple)

It seems to me that the Capture button will be problematic with a phone case. I can see the index finger in your video pressing down on the button and I can't imagine how it won't meet resistance from the phone case unless the case has a very large opening for the button.

Bruh don’t you’ll not get 120 HZ then. Also iPhones reduce the HZ rate to help with the batter performance so getting anything but the pro or pro max is not a good option
