How tough is that helmet? I would have to assume that if you used plastic filler then it hardened up pretty substantially but I'm curious as to the rigidity all the same, comparable to resin or 3D prints or what have you.
Thanks! I wish I had other material helmets to compare it to, but it really depends on what kind of liquid plastic you fill the helmet with. I chose Smooth Cast 65D so its still a tiny bit flexible. I weighed it and it's 2.53 lbs, but I don't know if it's worse than 3D printed one with all the attachments on there. I don't feel confident in dropping the Cody helmet, but I bet a plain helmet could survive a fall from about 5 feet with no issues.
Ever since I've been watching Clone Wars Commander Cody was always my favorite clone! Me and my brother used to argue that if Rex is Better than Cody. (Cody is much better)

Comparing this with the original is fun. The amount progress you have made, not just in the armour making, but as a youtuber aswell. Insane job on all of suit parts, but it's crazy how nice it is all together.

Yoooooooooo. The zipper makes this so much easy. Im pretty mad I didn't think of that. I tried using magnets but they kept falling out.
Yeah there's many ways to make it, but so far the zipper is my favorite.

Probably one of the best clone cosplays I've ever seen. There might be higher quality suits, in expensive plastic, but yours is the one that looks most proportional and clean. Congrats on the progress on youtube, and thanks for making all these videos. (btw are you ever going to finish the other clone suit that you ordered?)
Thank you, I appreciate that a lot! EVA foam is definitely a cheaper alternative to vacuum formed suits, but I'm happy with how it's come out. I do plan to finish the plastic suit, but it's just not a high priority atm. Between Etsy orders, CZcams and life I have a busy schedule lol.

Epic suit up, especially cool done helmet! Also, didn't Cody had only antenna ln the Shoulder? And by the way, how much weights this full set of armor? Because in Star Wars one set of phase 1 did weight around 40 kg, which is a lot
Thanks! The Genndy Tartakovsky version of Cody actually has antennas on both shoulders like this: 0:26. My suits are made of EVA foam which is lightweight and flexible so it's definitely lighter than 40kg. I'd guess about 10 lbs.
if were planning to add the arc trooper kama do we add the kama material to the cod piece section when building it
Yes. I would glue it on to the area just below the belt. I would make one myself, but Cody doesn't have one and I don't have my Ryzer suit atm.

This suit used 6mm thick eva foam. I've also made a few suits out of 5mm.

I have been working on various parts of it, but I'll probably do an animated arc trooper next and then gradually do more realistic stuff. It's much more complicated than the animated one unfortunately.

Quick question. For this costume did you use 1 thickness of foam and if yes what is it and if not what thicknesses did you use?

Yeah I used 6mm, but 5mm could work too. I used 10mm for the jetpack though
