CARILLON VARIATIONS by VICTOR KIOULAPHIDES for Mandolin Solo played by Alex Timmerman

The Carillon Variations on the medieval song "Maria durch ein Dornwald ging" was composed by Victor Kioulaphides for solo Mandolin in 2012. In the composition, in addition to the medieval melody, the sounds of the bells of a carillon and their reverberation are incorporated in the music in a very illustrative way. Enjoy!
