Shows what quality, precisely made, performance parts will do. Feuling and Trask are two great companies. He's gonna love to twist that throttle!
Excellent wrench & teacher!!
Wow! Love that 114!
Wow that's a nasty 114!! Great job guys
They really got these 114s running. Mine with Star F35A cam just made 133 HP 130 TQ
How is the low end with that cam?
A little choppy off idle in 1st. Took a lil clutch work practice to leave a stop light easy and smooth. Hope a lil more tuning can take that out. 2 to 3k same as SE-498 cam. 3500 to 6500 pulls like a rocket. I think ideal cam for a hot 117,119,122. Buddy also has softail 119 HP reels him in like he is on a string. Had it back 4 days and put 1k miles on it.
@@dextersimmons6020 I added a 3” 2.25 ID pipe where Db reducer had been removed. Pulled it again and got
135 HP @ 6,140
134 TQ @ 3,750
It got smoother at low rpm as well. It’s well known that the M8s are exhaust sensitive. Mine sure proved that.
@@vernlochtefeld1626great numbers! Mind sharing the other mods you did?
@@FredricChapman-wk5gv it’s a MoCo stage 3 107 to 114. Same bore as 117s only with shorter stroke. Thats 11-1 pistons plus I used the thinner Cometic gasket to tighten the quench a bit & bump the compression a bit. Otherwise SE Ventilator extreme AC, SE 64 TB & intake. 6.2 injectors & S&S Superstreet 2-1 tuned with PV.
Great numbers for a stage 2
Damn that is awesome.
Good numbers
I went a S&S 475 cam and a big bore D&D pipe with a Thundermax tuner. It woke my 20 RGS up.
D&D's are great pipes!

Dude I miss your gun channel. Just found this channel and it's awesome though.
Yeah, miss the gun work too. Shop keeps me too busy, though. Thanks for watching!
Would love to see what that setup would do with some head work. You guys should put a parts list together with links to them.
Yes, head work would have made an awesome difference.
Moonshine's got some nice ported heads built by Frankenstein engineering 1.5mm oversized valves for 114.. I'm currently having my 22 Street Glide Special biult with pretty much that configuration with polished heads..
That 475 is going to rip ass with not a lot of high lift trama on the valve train. I believe is the perfect build for a 114. 👍
Why didn’t you install the 468 cam?
What’s with the dead dip at around 2,500RPM?
What was the runout?
How much does all this cost
Can you still tour on a 475 cam?
Hell yes!!! I ran from Fl to Milwaukee for the 115th, 2k miles and averaged 47 mpgs. Passes with ease if at around 2700 and up so no need to downshift on the highway. It also sounds nasty
What did that cost
4k in parts. probably 2k in labor
How does more air fuel mixture equal fuel economy ? 8:57 NOT being a smart ass, real question.
