- After meeting up with our pal BeardMeatsFood, Randy and I stopped into Greasy Pig in Leeds, UK to take on their 'Paralyser' Full English Breakfast Challenge! Hungry diners have just TWELVE very short minutes to finish a massive breakfast that includes 4 sausages, 4 rashers of bacon, 4 fried eggs, 4 hash browns, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and 4 "slices" of toast equivalent to a full loaf of bread! Winners earn their breakfast for free, but must make the top 3 finish times to make the Wall of Fame!!!

I hope they don't sabotage the challenge by putting the sausages in the microwave so they can't be eaten in the time allotted. That would be like rigged carnival games.
Probably would've been ok if she'd split 'em open at the start.
Actually, most microwaved food (unless it’s something with very high water content) seems to cool faster than food heated other ways, to me anyway. But here it sounds to my ear like the sausage was natural casing, which is going to do a pretty good job at holding the heat in. And it is probably higher in fat than most sausage we get in America. This would make a lot of hot liquid grease just waiting to burst out when the casing is split open and, yeah, ouch.
@@sandramays795 it looked like a fairly low quality sausage to me (cash and carry/wholesalers special), they're usually about 30% meat with the rest made up of largely bread and fat as filler. I'm not quite sure where this place is, might have to check it out sometime, I'm not far from Leeds, it looked studenty, so maybe it's in headingley.
That reminded me of that ladder climb game. They had one on the Jersey Shore way back when. The guy running it would make it look so easy, then people would fail over and over. Then some 25 year old dude comes up and does it like 7x in a row to win his gal a huge Teddy Bear. Me: “Dude, that was amazing.” Him: “About 5 years ago, I ran the one 2 beaches down, same owner. Didn’t like him. Just a little revenge.” 😊

Getting into it, I think the restaurant screwed you over. Four pieces of toast turned into an entire loaf of bread? I hate when restaurants do this. It's like they're trying to give themselves a bad name. Isn't the purpose of these challenges to get people to want to come in and try the challenge, and then want to come back because the food is good. If I lived near there I doubt I would bother going in knowing they're cheaters. Rant over.

Have you considered getting a thermal imaging camera to check for molten food temperatures? They have handheld units for less than three hundred now. I love your videos they always make me feel very hungry!

Why would someone be mind blown with them coming? If they have an eating competition at their restaurant, you're naturally going to have professional speed eaters come to compete, along with them filming their experience.

@@Yet_Another_Steve Again, there is nothing to be blown about, small, medium or large. Say it's your restaurant, and it has an eating challenge like this. You have had this eating challenge for 5+ years. Through out the years, you would have had numerous groups coming to compete, or support their friends and videoing it.
If your restaurant or cafe doesn't want, or expect the publicity, then it shouldn't offer an eating challenge.
By having influencers come, they promote your eatery to their influencers, generating buzz for it. Influences will bring their friends, who might, or might not be professional eaters, who might, or might not, bring camera crew.
Now, if Rishi Sunak, or Joe Biden appeared at the restaurant randomly for the eating challenge, then yes, you can say "mind blown", but not when professional eaters come to an eatery that offers an eating challenge.
