    Greetings from Poland.
    I've reached a milestone - video number 50! What a wonderful back-catalogue.
    Silverbank site looked nice. What a gorgeous walk along the River Dee to Banchory. Your Curry Night looked fun
    Falls of Feugh and Scolty Hill were beautiful despite the terrible weather.
    For me, Crathes Castle was the best visit on this vlog. Dog friendly too!
    A lovely video. Stay safe and see you again soon.

    This was my 1st video of yours that I have watched. I loved it so much! It happens to be that your in a town I know and love and you showed it off well, even though the weather did not shine at this time. I enjoyed your narration very much. I appreciated seeing what and how you cooked too. This was just a great video and I look forward to checking out more of your fun adventures. All the best!

    Hi Mike and Tricia. Really enjoyed the vlog. Pity the weather was against you on Scolty Hill. The views would have been even more impressive if the clouds had cleared and the drone could have been flown. Crathes Castle looked the business - just the kind of place we like to visit. We've got a Scottish Tour coming up, and tried to book Silverbank but couldn't get the dates to fit, but it's on our "to go" list. Another smashing video. Thanks again. Safe travels. Full of interesting facts and information as usual and it was a cooling experience just watching in this mini May heatwave we're having 🤣. The last time I stayed by the Dee was twenty-five years or so ago and the hotel is now apartments, by the Dee in Ballater. If you didn't get that rain around those parts then it wouldn't be so green and beautiful. I wish I could still climb those hills like I used to but it's a good job I have folks like you to do it for me 🤣. Looking forward to another installment soon. Reallenjoy the snippets of interesting facts. I never have worked out whether having an eclectic mind is a boon or a bane though 🤔 but either way I'm stuck with it as it appears you both are.. 👍

    • @MikeandTriciaOotnAboot
      @MikeandTriciaOotnAboot  Před 3 lety +1

      Definitely a boon, but makes the film making more challenging when I see things and want to know about them, the research often follows the filming and voice over works for that approach. Happy to do the hills for you there is a good one coming soon.

    Looked like your enclosure was made of vinyl? We had a 4 sided vinyl enclosure on our pontoon boat. It snapped on and was easily rolled up during warm days. But oh, was it a nice wind/rain break and gave us nice protection against the elements. You guys made me tired with all your walking, but I give you credit for all that exercise and fresh air. Take care. Sandy from OH, USA

    • @MikeandTriciaOotnAboot
      @MikeandTriciaOotnAboot  Před 2 lety

      Hi Sandy, yes vinyl so it is very waterproof and cab just be dried with a cloth before packing away, and its just enough to keep the wind at bay. We sure did a lot of walking on that one, a good enough excuse to put the feet up and have a glass or two 🤣

    Another great video the wood carvings were amazing, I've never heard of Cathes castle, l used to love going out in the rain in Scotland it always smelled so fresh, not like here in Florida it just smells humid.
    There is so.much of Scotland l didn't see, but when your young and just starting a family, you don't think of going to far, we went to Beescraig park often it wasn't far, or a drive to Queensferry.
    Good to see you both out enjoying nature. 🌞
