    50k$? What do you think this is, an Eco boost?

    • @luisv3633

      Depends on the area

    • @nateyzf
      @nateyzf Před 8 lety +5

      +nateyzf you talking about an eco boost?

    • @nateyzf
      @nateyzf Před 8 lety +7

      Of course you can get an ecoboost for $50k, but I doubt you could get a GT530 for 50k unless it's used with some miles on it.

    • @ryanrobinson2401
      @ryanrobinson2401 Před 8 lety +6

      I got a 2016 GT350 base for 50k. I know there weren't many people that got a MSRP deal but they do exist. It definitely depends on the area you live in.It was worth every penny.

    Theres a neat little trick to making the exhaust backfire insanely! Just get off the gas every so slightly but not completely at about 6500 to 7k rpm and you get a long lasting huracan style backfire effect. Im addicted to doing it on mine.

      @jake7808 Před 8 lety

      Supply and demand - there are not tons of these cars in the supply chain waiting to be bought. People are also willing to pay that apparently. If they weren't moving they would drop the price

    • @DonkeyEvo
      @DonkeyEvo Před 8 lety +1

      ROMAN REPUBLIC I love the car, I've been around mustangs for most of my life, owned 3 evo's 8/9/10 and an sti. I enjoy driving it much more than any of my previous vehicles and the evo x was making similar power to the wheel with a lot of tire all the way around and well sorted suspension. The car cruises effortlessly on the highway and rides well and handles great. No real complaints here, just some fit and finish that could be better. I'd say if you really want one and have the money 5k would be the cap of markup I would pay. Above that and there are other options within reach that wont cause you to be upside down in value.

So I bought a new 2016 C7 Z06 way under MSRP. Ford needs to get there game straight on this one. GM is eating there lunch. Don't get me started on the Ford GT. While reading through the comments you can tell who is truly a car person. It's the guy realizing a truly magnificent car no matter the make. I get so tired of all these brand dependent cry babies who think that their brand is so much better. Get over it. This is one of the greatest times to be alive in the car world, enjoy it while it lasts.

    Jeremy Clarckson reviewed this car a while ago, I'm sure the MX-5 or the M235i would feel better, less sound, less power, but pure dynamics cars for under 50k, the GT350 just can be driven like those cars...

    Fact: Reference Ford's website for actual numbers LISTED HERE: 2016 GT350 STARTING MSRP: $47,795. 2017 GT350 STARTING MSRP: $54,295. Also interesting that Vehicle Virgins advised that this car is under 50K with referencing the magneride suspension. For 2016, this was only available with the track package, which also took the MSRP over 50K. Yes it does come standard on the 2017, however you see the bump in the starting MSRP listed above which again takes you over that 50K margin. Also, as stated in the video, dealer markup is still a concern, averaging 5-10% over MSRP. Either way, still an amazing vehicle. But with that said just give it another 2-3 years and there will be something better and then all that own this car will be frowned upon, just like all those that bought the 13-14 GT500. Which in my opinion is a awesome vehicle, road course and straight line both. But God forbid if it does not have a European styled interior found in an 100K+ vehicle.

    Coolness? You gotta be kidding. What I really want is the Mustand equivalent of a Corvette Grand Sport. That would be a GT350 with the flat plane V8 replaced by a regular Coyote engine. 430 HP is plenty, and I prefer low speed torque to high revs.

I was surprised when he said Ford benchmarked it with the GT3 which is in a different category than the Mustang and M4. This car might beat the M4, maybe, but I don't think the GT3.
