  • In today’s video I will show you how to remove dried chalk paint and other water based products from your paint brushes. Whether the paint is still fresh or whether your brush has been sitting a while this simple method will allow you to clean your paint brush from dried chalk paint or other water based paint or top coat and re-use your brush. Your brushes will be as good as new with this technique that results in a soft reconditioned paint brush.

    Murphys soap oil works great to soak them. Will loosen up in bristles too.

    I store my brushes in one of those baby bottle dryers that is in a white tray with the green bristles part that is inserted in the tray. They stand up in there really well and drip dry and are also stored there.
