Narrated by Peter Baker: www.theenglishvoiceover.com/
History in Lego
The Battle of Flers-Courcelette (15 to 22 September 1916) was fought during the Battle of the Somme in France, by the French Sixth Army and the British Fourth Army and Reserve Army, against the German 1st Army, during the First World War. The Anglo-French attack of 15 September began the third period of the Battle of the Somme but by its conclusion on 22 September, the strategic objective of a decisive victory had not been achieved.

the artillery looks very good
Ye instead of what other channels use namely fieldguns or napoleonic war cannons
Listen, John'sminescooterArmy 189 screen recorded your gas attack video and is taking credit for it. Just letting you know! Love your videos!!!
@@Jeston1 wheres the link
@@j.andrei.. He deleted the video a while ago, here is his channel.
This video is by far the best video you have ever made its outstanding i like the narated parts by peter baker and the custom tanks (its better than the cobi one). Last thing minifigs are awesome-abeaverstudios
I think the cobi one is better
@@bears9055 for me i think the cobi version is to big
@@Abeaverstudios I have the cobi version, and all though it's big compare to the soldiers it's more realistic and less blocky
@@bears9055 Cobi's definitely looks much better/realistic, but these lego ones are better for scale/sizing. I love the cobi tanks, but I wish they had smaller versions, too! haha
@@theshooterflynn If it comes to size than yes the lego ones are better, but you can't buy the lego ones anywhere
This is super impressive! Your animations are becoming more cinematic, slight, and it makes them look way outstandingly! Brilliant work!
This is awesome I like how you incorporated the narrator into the trench areas while he was talking and how detailed it was but the tank in the mud was just soooooooo satisfying
Love the documentary with a host feel and the historical facts and great animation along side it
This is absolutely amazing! No way would I have the patience to make that. Keep up the good work
Amazing! Great history lesson along with high quality lego smooth stopmotion, great job!

Imagine you in the war and you see a friking monster made of steel with guns
Imagine your in a B-17 at ceiling limit and see a strange twin engine plane diving at you from above at impossible speeds, it has no props.

Never thought I’d see this in an official Sabaton music video. 2020 is a crazy year, eh?
No, it’s not. You’re just one of those people who’s scared shitless of the “virus.”
@@gabrielagustinhomas Nah, I was mostly referring to the effects society’s reaction to the virus caused. It’s amazing that a variant of the flu caused so much trouble. Thousands of businesses ruined, the world shuttered up for almost a year, the complete fuck-up that was the 2020 election, all of that happened because the Chinese couldn’t control their little flu sample.
@@wish_i_was_a_cowboy5910 Well, you’re right about the election, but you’re still wrong about the virus, but whatever.
@@gabrielagustinhomas I’m not sure how I’m wrong. It exists, seeing as my family caught the damn thing, but it was vastly overblown. This “Delta Strain” is complete bullcrap though.

Great way to get ones kids to watch, learn and like history! !
I can see how your brick film improved since your first somme video! Your new video was much smoother
I love this documentary part it's really useful thank you
Very clean animation :D keep it up!
Awesome video loved every second of it :)
Great work on the Sabaton collab!!
The best animation about Battle of Somme !!!!
AMAZING dude!
This is genial
Awesome video! Loved the tanks. Favorite part was the tank getting stuck in the mud
I've learnt more history from this one video than I have my entire school history.
this is a good way to teach the young history actually
That's the point! :) Want to make a lot of history lessons within the school program
@@LCMhistory well great job it is good
Man this one is really good I like it
This is great. I would love to see more modern warfare
This Cobi green Mark I is amazing, it look much better and more realistic than those grey ones.
A very great movie. Very good job👍
amazing work!!!! :))) very very cool :)) watching dor few times in a row :))
Holly crap your the best stop motion channel
the heck? the vid is 2 minutes ago and there are 12 comments?!
Man, you rule fella what a vid. The old man that is the narrator reminds me of Doctor Jones/Sean Connery the father of Indiana Jones we saw in the 3 of the great series, IJ and the Last Crusade. I love the effects of the vid and the realism great models of the tanks better from a lot of WW1 movies...!! Well done buddy and imagine that some months ago or a year or two I did not know that you can do films with Lego just imagine... Have a nice weekend buddy. :)
It reminded me of an old saturday morning cartoon from the late 60's and early 70's called Professor Kitzel. It is what started a lifetime interest in history for me.
Finaly i have wait so long for this
This is amazing!
Wow this was released on my birthday! :D
Anyway. The quality of this stop motion is high. VERY high.
Peter Baker is back boi 😍
נכון אתה מלך
this is cool history stop motion
Another great vid keep up the work bro 💪
This was incredible
Great video I wish they showed this in school instead of what we normally watch
me too :) but I think it's a little bit cruel for school
1:53, Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond?
bruh since when did they time travel
TOONOIGHT ON BOTTUM GEAH! Myself, James and Hammond travel back in time and build our own Mark I tank for the Battle of the Somme! I add Nos to our tanks engines , Hammond fries trench rats over a fire, James commits war crimes.
@@daltonroller2998 Jams, stop shuoting the French, they seems to be friendly
the stop Motion you do are just amazing! One day, I hope to do the same with mine!
When the bloodiest battles of 2 wars started on the same day
(Gettyburg and the somme)
Epic sabaton collab!
Looks much smoother
Thats amazing
hey LCM could you do a battle of Austerlitz from the Napoleonic war also great work keep doing what you do
It`s epic! It`s fantastic!
Супер 👍
С каждым новым видео, качество анимации, баталии и экшен сцены становятся всё лучше и лучше!
Единственное, в некоторых моментах немного подтармажует фпс (в сцене с началом штурма немецких траншей).
Hey LCM can you do a history lesson on D-Day
Please
but he already has two D-Day films on his channel.

Love the narration!
love it all, and I am Especially gracious that you used the Polish brick set Cobi Mark I Tank! make you have people from Poland Appreciate you like me!
Here before 1k gang where you at btw brilliant vid
Those tanks were simple yet *devistating*
AWSOME! Though, I'd like to suggest. perhaps recoloring the dirt explosions to be the color the bricks. More life like y'know. Like you did with the gas in the fortress attack.
The all video is very good. Great job and respects from Chileeee.

The Somme was one of my favorite battles of ww1
Nice stop Motion
Omg so good
Best video you have ever made
This is good video and story
Wow, good work
For any one interested in the history of the first tanks and all the battles they fought in there is an excellent book called, " Band of Brigands" by Christy Campbell. It has the entire storey of the idea, design, training and detailed accounts of the fighting they did with many first person accounts gleaned from letters and after action reports. Gut wrenching in parts.
There are some short accounts of individual actions in a book called, " Iron Fist" by Bryan Perrett. Armored warfare from the great war to the first Iraq war. Some of the Great War accounts would make fantastic films for this style of animation.
Wow these are actually more interesting and much more fun than typical school social studies lol.
Thanks :) Check my other history lego lessons :)) I have about American evolution, Roman Empire, More ww1 and so on
