Gary… I need to find a man like you. You’re a very handy man. Robbie you’ve been blessed to find him.
You might need to block this one Robbie! Lol. Just kidding! You are showing your man off way too well! Lol.
This was very interesting - our yard is too small but it’s good to know how things get done- Gary is very ingenious in figuring out how to do things in a large garden like yours!!😊
I was thinking the same thing!! Got any brothers Gary? Send one to Texas 😂😂😂
❤🤠❤
And thank you for not putting music to things. I appreciate you and Gary so much!
When I was a child, in our small town, all the guys would get together to help one another, but it certainly isn’t that way anymore, they don’t even help the women. It’s sad that is how it has become in this world. I know my neighbors because most of us grew up in our tiny town, but in many places, people don’t even want to know their neighbors, let alone help them. 😢 If I lived there, I would help Gary….just to learn his little tips and tricks and hopefully get a taste of Robbie’s cooking. 😋 😂
Crocodile Dundee of California MATE
This is by far the best frugal utube channel on the Internet ... just love yaw ideas 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
It’s amazing how our husbands can have some ingenious ideas on how to make something that makes gardening easier for us.
Dear Ms. Robbie and Mr. Gary, Thank you so much for yet another detailed instructional video delving into Mr. Gary's thought processes and his Aussie "make it happen" attitude. BRAVO!
Thank you for not speeding through the video, so those of us that would like to do this in our yard we can see how Gary does it. Appreciated!
You guys have the coolest ideas, I'm always showing my husband what you guys are doing.
Gary, Gary, Gary. That is pretty slick. You do an excellent job on anything you do. Great work.
It's so nice to have someone so resourceful helping you garden! Great job, Gary!🌻🌾🌱
Gary has done a really good job.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Looks fantastic .Will look amazing when you start to grow thing’s.
I think so too! Thanks 😊
He’s a brilliant, hard working man and it’s apparent how much he shows his love for you in the projects he does for you, Robbie. ❤
You and Gary are the perfect couple!! You are so lucky to have found your soul mate!! I admire you both for your hardworking, creativity, and great instructions. Thank you!!
Thats going to be really fun to plant things on. Cant wait to see what you do with it. Gary is a very talented man.
He really got that tunnel up fast all by himself. Soooo many things you can grow on it too!
Does the plant have to be a climber? I think this would really be helpful in not losing vegetables to animals!
It’s nice. Wasn’t boring at all! Very relaxing.
That was fascinating. Gary did a good job. I'm excited to see what you will do with it in time. Thank you.
I’m so thrilled you recorded this. What a great idea and he made it happen in under an hour. With great planning, I’m sure.
such a hard-working intelligent man, teamwork makes the dreamwork
Love ❤️ the video!! I rather listen to you than music!! I really enjoy your questions & comments during the video!! Yes, gorgeous day!!! 🙌🏻🦋
Robbie, thank you for not adding music. 😊 You and Gary are so clever...great team !
Wow!! Think of all the things to grow... Up.
I know 😊so excited to grow everything ❤
You’ll have some nice shade, too eventually - stick a small table & couple of chairs inside then, & have a nice lunch in the middle of 1 of yr heat waves!!!😊
@@suewong2732 oh Yes! 😊 ❤️
Girl just sit back and watch and relax. Temperature in Riverside is going down. It’s 97 so I am just laying here watching. Over the weekend me and my son Jared up 20 jars strawberry jam and six quarts of tomatoe sauce. We are going to jar up six more jars of sauce this weekend with his lemon boy tomatoes. And I think 12 jars of blueberry jam. And we live in a mobile park but make use of every inch In growing
Thanks Robbie, Jerry and I are planning another tunnel and appreciate Gary’s suggestions. Great tips!💙🌵🌸🪴🐝🐾Zoe🐾Love the background bird songs.🐦⬛
We enjoy listening to you, learning from Gary & listening to all the bird as a background!! Perfect!! Thank you!! 😘🥰❤️
Oh my gosh Gary! How fantastic is that? You two are both SO talented and super creative! Great job Gary! Whoop-whoop! Balloons! Balloons!
Thank you for No background noise. The only thing I would've changed, is for you to be a bit closer, but all in all-great, & very helpful.
Is anyone else old enough to remember Merle Haggard singing : Yeah I'm a shade tree fix-it man
I don't need any helping hand
I'm a Jack-of-all-trades
When I'm working in the shade
I'm a shade tree fix-it man Looks great, Gary
As for the Home Depot debacle, you would think the vendors would notice and complain.
Looks fantastic! At 74 years young I still make my arches using 16’ long by 50” cattle stock panels. They are easy to walk one end over to make an arch and I attach them to my t-post. Attach one side at a time to a t-post,then walk the other end to make an arch. Put in a t-post to keep it arched. I do this by myself, and cover 2-3 arches with visqueen for a greenhouse, cover some with a tarp to park my riding lawn mower & garden items under, and also cover a few with a tarp for critter shelters. Love those arched instant everything. Been doing it that way for 40 years.
Gary needs a tool belt!! Great job!!
Fantastic. Thanks Gary, love the jig, Gary has some of the best ideas. I love to see how men think about things so different from us, women. I am thinking of making a small tunnel, with some irrigation tubing, my irrigation tubing is a little bigger in diameter, just for a few plants.
This is amazing, I can't wait to have my own veggie tunnel. I recommend putting all totes/buckets on chairs. Less bending=less back pain. 😊
Gary, get a t post driver. I pounded a few t posts with a hammer before finally buying one from Lowe’s. Wish I had it from the start. Made driving the post a lot faster.
Robbie you’re going to have a great space to grow climbing plants.
I had Monarchs today. They are beautiful!
What Gary did was spectacular. I can hardly wait to see what you do.
Perfection!
I love your tutorials
I love no distracting music on tutorials ❤
I am so thankful for this video. I need to build a sturdy grape arbor that is affordable and I believe this is exactly what will work!
I love watching you and gary, I get such good ideas! Although at the moment it's just rain all the time here in the UK! Thank you for video love from Lancashire UK xx
Great video!! Awesome job Gary!
Gary is one Handy Man 🤩!
Excellent work by Gary! What a great trellis for you to work your magic with, Robbie! 😊 Love that you showed the whole process and gave us all the details! ❤ Thanks so much!
So upsetting to see all those dead & dying plants at Home Depot. I thought the HD I visited yesterday up here in far northern California had horribly dry plants, but what you showed was so much worse. 😮😫😥
What a waste- someone sd be fired for losing all those plants if they all died! Thousands of dollars due to laziness or incompetence or just plain neglect & uncaring attitude - take the loss out of their paychecks!
You would think places like Lowes and homedepot have a spray system in place to water morning and evening, on a timer, after all they have plants there year after year.....
Gary is one of the work smarter not harder people❤
I am keeping busy converting 20 some t-shirts with regular round collar trim into v-neck, hubby hates regular collars and hardly wears them, but owns a large selection, to just hang in the closet. Enough I thought and sewing by hand it is. The more I get done the faster it seems to go😊
The length of the video is fine. 😊
I always love watching both of you garden. Gary is like Go Go Gadget and Robbie is definitely tips and tricks. Stay cool if you can. We will be having 15 days over 105 and some 114 days. Big fire yesterday and we were ordered to evacuate but we stayed because of the animals, luck the fire only came close but we were without power for 16 hours. The Thompson fire.
Thank you Gary and Robbie for sharing this amazing tunnel build! 👍🏻♥️ Robbie I am looking forward to watching to see what you plant in the tunnel. It will be amazing for sure.
Re Home Depot, the store manager should be fired!! Sad and sickening for those of us who love plants. That is disgusting and so wrong what HD did!
I can never get those T posts level. So I am watching carefully! My Dad was like Gary, very precise. Things had to be done perfectly! He is truly amazing how he builds the tools he needs! He thought of everything including fire protection! PVC Tubing isn't strong enough to keep the shape of the remesh. Many people show us once they are up. You finally show us just how it is done. It was very informative!
This is fantastic Gary and Robbie...Thank You!
Thanks so much❤️
I love the Jellyfish!! I can watch it for hours!! I’m going to try to get one tomorrow in Home Depot in Kentucky!! Wish me luck!! 🤗🦋
It’s awesome! Great job Gary! Wish I had a Gary! 😆
Informative and enjoyed this video. Not boring at all. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Robbie, I don't know my neighbors. I have 2 acres smack dab in the middle and surrounded by 500 acres of pines/woods. My drvwy is 1/4 mile long to the road. Wouldn't want it any other way. So cool Gary helps you with your projects. This is so interesting to watch! Thank you!
I love the tunnel !
This is going to be exciting
Thanks guys for showing and sharing!
Such an awesome trellis garden~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Gary you are a wonderful worker. Thank you so much for sharing. Very interesting and exciting. Sorry to see the end of the video at Home Depot. Looked like our Walmart here in Southern Oregon. Makes you want to cry. Have fun and Happy Gardening!
Gary love what you do
Great tunnel video! Reminds me of bending ribs for a boat we built long ago. Great job!👍👏🎇
Wow! Your tunnel looks great! 👍😃 Gary really knows his stuff. It did go together pretty quick. You'll have fun planting up your totes and buckets for the tunnel. Looking forward to see you working on it. By the way, the birds sound lovely in the background. I'm sorry to hear about the plants at HD...it is a shame...poor plants. At least someone was trying to water and possibly some plants will recover. Take care in the heat. ❤
This is very interesting & informative Robbie, thank ya'll for doing this video 🥰🥰🥰
I live in NC. The last time we went to the local Lowe's a lot of the plants were completion dry. They either wasn't watering, or wasn't watering enough. Maybe the new medium doesn't absorb the water? Idk the reason, but it was appalling. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Gary put up your new tunnel. It's wonderful.
I just heard a local radio station talking about your hummingbird fountains and played a snippit of your you tube channel, I was like I know that channel.....😅
No more backside of the rainbow garden, however, you could add colorful chairs on thise side of the tower eventually. Just a thought gal.
The beauty of building this arch structure if used for grape arbor, grapes give off a mist that would be very cooling like a patio cover
Great job. Gary is a good one. Enjoy your new tunnel!
My Home Depot is bad with watering. There today, about 50 Lime Light hydrangeas were dry as a bone and drooping. I considered finding a hose and watering them myself.
🌲you guys could build a Pine forest🌲 in the middle of that parking area🌲--I think it would be way cool!🌲🌲🌲
Happy 4th of July Robbie and Gary
Great tutorial❤.
Thanks so much!
Fascinating to watch. Definitely gave me inspiration to do something like this instead of using the very pricey cattle panels that we are currently using as arches. When you buy those t-posts they give you wire clips to attach to the panels, but my husband doesn't like using the clips. What is the name of the kind of wire he is using? I also like how he used the pvc to measure with as a guide to use instead of tape measure. This would be a good little side hustle to make extra money. He could cut and measure everything at home then take to people's home to set up. Love his skills. Can't wait to see what you grow on it. It's gonna be awesome. Thank you for sharing.
👏👏👏👏 beautiful archway Robbie!!! great job Gary!!! Excited to see what you're going to do with it!! what a bummer about Home Depot👎 we're also not getting a heat wave over here right now up north from you, on the central coast, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! 👏🇺🇸🎇🎆Hope you two enjoy this perfect weather.. appreciate the video! Much love -Nina Central coast California 10a 💓🥔🫑🌶️🥬🍅🫛🥕🍓
You have a gem of husband there!
Hey Robbie & Gary 🥰🥰
Hi Mona 😀
@@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy ya'll have given me some great ideas this year too🥰🥰
So Awesome!!!!❤
Thanks, I downloaded this. Excellent job you two❤
Thankbyou for sharing this very good information thank you both ❤
He needs a T- post driver🥰🥰
Brilliant! Thanks guys, always love some Gary DIY! 😍
Someone probably getting fired at Home Depot, that was a massive loss of $. If it was one section, maybe ok, but the whole place?? I feel bad for the plants too, and I don't normally anthropomorphize them!
Thank you!!!!!
Hi Robbie!
Amazing to watch
Hi Jackie❤
Hey Robbie, I can see greenhouses!
❤
Gary and Robbie, Have you considered setting up drip irrigation tubing to the arbor so all you have to do is fill the bucket with water and it drips the water into the tubs or buckets etc?
😮❤❤❤😊
Any chance a person could rent Gary to build one of these? 😉
One of the Home Depots in our area had the same issue with dried plants, one whole row was dying because of no watering.
Home Depot herbs and veggies buy one get two
Good on ya Gary! Where did Gary live in Australia?
I had the same experience after going to two different ones last week. They got rid of all the cashiers and want you to use self checkout. (witch I refuse to use.)No help anywhere. Silicon Valley-San Francisco Bay Area.
Could we have a teach on the jig
I may have talked my hubbie into building me one, and he wants to know what size rebar Gary used?
Good man! Will you talk to my husband? He hates my garden😮😢
Would half runner beans work on this?
The same thing happened to the Home Depot in Glendale AZ. They have a person that comes in just to water and they didn't come in that day. We are in the 100 -115 temps here. I complained also. Such a waste all around.
Home Depot where I live periodically neglect to water the plants. I consider it management problem.
Do you have any kale cutting are seeds I can not find any cuttings or seeds for kale
Tell Gary to check into getting a metal t pole driver there not that expensive My kids and grandkids says it makes a big difference
How about corn? Would it grow in the tubs or 5 gallon buckets?
Yes you can grow corn that way too, thanks
@@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy Thanks! We are going to try that next year! BTW, I finally found a power bank that lasts about 28 hours. If you ever come across the same power banks you have for your fountains please give us the name of the company and details, please. I would love to get 4 days with mine!
🌲Lowe's employee told me last year they are directed to NOT water plants after certain date🌲
Tell Gary THANKS for letting us all annoy him watching as he works.
