This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. I am loving this abstract art! I hope to keep doing this for years to come! I have always been fascinated by modern and contemporary art. There is something about it that is so freeing and expressive. I love acrylic pouring because I get to experiment and really join the creative side of my brain with the scientific part! There are so many different fluid acrylic pouring techniques out there, so much more to try and have fun with. Make sure you are subscribed to my channel so that you may learn and be creative with me. I love hearing all of your comments. You manage these huge canvases so well. I just wanna come stay with you for a week snd watch you paint. I have much to learn! 🤗 thanks as always for sharing Molly! You were one of the very first pour painters I watched on CZcams and now I’ve been posting my own videos for a few months! You and a few others made it seem manageable and made me think I may be able to do it myself, I’m not an artist! It’s been very healthy for me, so again, thank you. ♥️

    Another pair of stunners Molly, just beautiful, that green certainly brings them to life - gorgeous and so big - wow. I tried a big one 4ft x 3ft which I ordered - printed - and when it arrived it was totally different - hated it so tried to do black and white with a big swipe down the middle in red, orange and yellow - and yes, a mess. Will have to have another go hee hee. Loved the voice over with all the lessons, hints and tips - thank you Molly and have a beautiful day :)

    It was very informative and gourgous as usual. You are one of my greatest inspirations. 16x20 is the biggest piece I've done thus far. I recently bought a couple of 18x24 and I've been working up the courage to actually paint them. I decided to wait for my hubby to finish my corner studio he's making me in our basement(he's almost done hopefully in the next day or 2). But I'm going through withdraws as I haven't been able to paint in like a month as I transition from our kitchen to my new art area.

    I have done several shelves like what you have you supplies on they are 2’x4’ and use them in my garage for a counter when I have guests over. I finish them with epoxy so they are like a counter top. I have done some for the holidays, fall, Christmas, and now Valentines. ~Lynne

    Beautiful. Brave with the lime green but definitely had popped. I find clients really go for large canvasses for that wow effect. My largest has been 48"x60", Dutch pour but also abstract brush/spatula effect. Well done. 👏👏

  • @jocelynmarieco
    @jocelynmarieco Před 3 lety

    I agree, large scale paintings are so stressful, yet so rewarding. The largest painting I’ve done was a 4 X 5’ Dutch pour! One canvas, which I took a long time to plan out and make sure everything was readily available. It took an enormous amount of prep time, set up, and paint.... SO MUCH PAINT! I tried to think of almost any snag or issue I might encounter , but there’s always something that you just can’t avoid. I had to scrape it twice because I was so nervous during the pour that it affected the outcome and I just wasn’t happy with how it flowed. One thing I didn’t prepare for was just how much your mental state will show in the work. I ended up waiting to make sure I was mentally ready, because that’s just as important as everything else. Third time I made sure I was in the right headspace and it turned out beautifully, thank goodness. My client and I love it. More importantly, I learned so much doing those massive pours, about pretty much everything. The end result is totally worth it though when you hang the finished piece on the wall and think, “WOW! I made that!” 💙

    Wow Molly. You’ve really outshined. These are the best I’ve ever seen. These are beautiful. Thank you so much for all of your help you’ve always given. We all benefit I know from your tips. I for one desperately need all the help I can get. I can’t say enough how beautiful these are. 🦋🦋🦋

    MOLLY another beautiful piece! I'm not even all the way thru the video! I have been painting my canvase edges, and it works. I learned that from you! So thanks! I wanted to tell you also I am running out of space from extra paint! Mostly from scraped disliked paintings and I get the most incredible colors from those!!💁🏻‍♀️💜🎨
