I've never been a fan of the paint pouring picture fade. Just seems to me that the kind of people that do them couldn't draw a circle to save their lives. But your technique and how beautiful your picture turned out has made me a believer in the paint pouring! 😊
The green is such a dark, rich color! I love it! SO pretty! And the brighter colors on top... this really does look like an abstract field of flowers!!
I really like the base color on this. With the colorful pastel flowers and the pearl paints of the same colors they are, indeed, quite beautiful. That green really does makes the flowers stand out all the more. What a wonderful painting! I do like seeing you try all the different things you have jotted down in your notebook. Hi Molly, when you first said Sap Green for the background, I envisioned a light green grey. I was very surprised by that gorgeous dark green. Hi! Glad you found me! The torch is to remove air bubbles from the paint that occurs due mixing. I like amsterdam or creative inspirations brand as they are mid priced with a nice selection of colors. I get them at jerrys artarama or blicks.
every paint brand reacts differently, so you may not get the same results. I mostly use amsterdam brand or creative inspiration acrylic paint and water/medium.. Check out my YT channel, I have lots of free tutorials! Thanks!
