    Dog you're clearly better at snowboarding than half these snowboard youtubers. Not only are you better at snowboarding, your trick tips are way better to watch. I like how you really get into the mindset of each trick. Like for your backflip video, you totally got me hyped talking about how easy it really was once you committed. Anyways man, I hope you keep making these trick tips cause they're hella fun to watch and learn from. I'm sure you'll gain a following if you can stay consistent.

    Oh man that brought me back to my Neil Blender "Coffee Break" skateboard days from the late 80s. Biggest kicktail of all time. TIL ol' Neil coined the term "method". Thanks!

    When you do the grab on the nose, its more like a tweak air than a method

    • @Ryan_hey
      @Ryan_hey Před 9 měsíci

      It's all preference; both ways are cool:
      1. Some prefer to replicate skateboarding, but the only reason skateboarders did it behind the truck was because they were riding boards that had almost no nose, and weren't able to tweak as hard with bindings, especially on a very short board.
      2. Snowboarders are longer and have a huge section of nose past the front binding, which allows it to be tweaked harder. That's why people like Jamie Lynn and Nicholas Muller prefer this version of the method.

      @@Ryan_hey fair enough though i would still argue that they did it beneath the truck because that is the only way to do a proper method on a skateboard. meaning shifting your hips forward and laying it out nice and clean, and since snowboarding tricks are largely derived from (vert)skating it should according to me only be called a "method air" when you do what would be called a method on a skateboard. no larger nose on a skateboard will make it a method above the truck, it will instead be a tweak air when done bs or to fakie and a lein air when done fs. i think the skateboarding origin should be perserved and appreciated

    ben is better because he grabs in between the bindings the correct way

    Im sorry but grabbing outside the bindings should not be considered a "proper method" its basically the tindy version of a method, and its kinda dumb that its accepted.
