That in combination with flat or even down facing toes is a ticket to getting catapulted over the bars in most cases imho.

Looks more like a pedal strike than a foot slip. Don't think heels back would have helped him.
@shwndh @Darnok Regrer @Dinner-fork tongue As the 4ider in this clip I can confirm that it was a pedal strike into the bank on the side due to attempting to whip the wrong way for the angle of the jump!
