I live in london but I would not suggest anyone to work in this chains its very demanding and too much work rather than apply for agency or apply in retail shops, never aim for anything less.

How to answer the availability question cause I have the interview and I know we have to be flexible while telling our availability but the location of the store is 1 hour travel from my location so night shift is a bit difficult. Can you help me with this?
If you are student then you can let them know on which days you have lectures and just say that you are comfortable with this time slot if they specific want you for any other time slot they will ask you if you can work in this hours. if you are comfortable working the time they are asking for then you can say yes as well. Also if you got selected and started working you can change your availability as well but there should be strong reason for eg you have uni on different days, exam related things etc.

I had my online interview yesterday, they took my uniform size but didn't mention whether I got into MCd or not?! bit scary for me pls anyone help me boost my confidence
They usually ask for the size in interview that's normal procedure they have. If you have passed your interview they will let you know within a week. All the best.

You can contact them directly and ask them. usually they reply within a week.

McDonald’s is not the place for work …
Why? There is no 'bad' job in the UK they will all pay at least minimum wage which is £10.42 for 23 years old or over. And you don't have to do heavy lifting for most of the roles in McDonald's. Especially if you end up having a good group of fellow employees it could be a nice place to work. You shouldn't put people down that are working every job is important. Without McDonald's there would be many times that I would not have a place to eat early in the morning or late at night as they have one of the earliest and latest opening/closing times. It's a very useful service to be able to get hot food when you are cold in your way to/back from work
