Maybe it’s because I’m so much older, but hearing him and others makes me worry we’ve lost the ability to have conversations with other people. Then I have to remind myself these guys are trying to impress production so they get picked for the next round, not necessarily the person they’re “dating.” So they want to find a tv-worthy persona to market 🙄.

Omg that scene where he mentioned some quote from Alain de Botton, and then took a sip of his drink like if it was some mic drop moment (I feel the way the producers edited that was a touch shady) made me laugh and roll my eyes soooo hard! A lot of these people are so superficial and act like they’re deep when they’re so far from that.

I think that the first season is ,and will stay the only season in which there were people actually ready for the commitment of marriage. Because half of the cast in this season is giving " iam still stuck in a high school level mentality ". I only like Alexa ,and bennon as a couple. For the others there is no hope.

Unpopular opinion, I don't think Nancy is as sweet as nice as she portrays herself to be. She tends to say kinda unnecessarily snarky things sometimes and her sweetness feels a bit over the top at times like it's an act. Either way, she still deserves better than Bartise and his nonsense

Our society socializes boys to be more comfortable being emotionally open with women. I’m a mom to a little boy and can def see where it originates. But it’s not a good look when grown men fail to consider whether the woman they’re opening up to actually want to hear it, like Batise is doing here.
I think it particularly hurt her because of her age and being older - the fact that he doesn’t realize that shows how childish he is.

Apparently this season has the same producers as season 1. Season 2 had all different producers with the exception of one person. No wonder season 1 and 3 look to be miles better

What bothers me about this season is that people interview for the show before they get on it so they see these trash personalities that are clearly (in bachelor terms) “not here for the right reasons” and are like… let’s become a knock off love island! Like their first season was so much more authentic. Felt like a better married at first sight but this is.. this is getting to hot mess territory

I can't get over the fact that in season 2 Natalie was in a abusive relationship with Shayne, and even watching the show we all could tell that there is something wrong with him, so it's sad and crazy that during his screening process he wasn't vetted out just because he was an entertaining character. Natalie could have been in a healthy and happy relationship instead of a toxic and abusive one if the show producers prioritised well being over views. I'm so glad Nancy was able to see through Andrew's perfect demeanour because she could have been another Natalie.

The producers and the host couple - Nick and Vanessa are definitely DESPICABLE people thoroughly lacking in ethics, morality... Basically any good quality. Anything to make a buck, including torturing people. Same goes for those involved with marriage at first sight.
Andrew was so boring to me with all his bragging. Makes you wonder how much of what he was saying was real. The eyedrops tho. He’s an idiot. The cameras are always rolling. Lol I really hope Nancy doesn’t fall for his bs. I can’t wait for the reunion already, that’s for sure!

Colleen - why are you here. Did you know that she’s a ballerina and is flexible? 😑 As much as I love Brennon and Alexa I feel like she’s too wild for him. He seems quite and reserved. Sometimes that works though so fingers crossed!
I can’t tell if Alexa likes him or not. It seems like she thinks he is sweet and may not want to hurt his feelings. I’m not sure they will work, sadly. We’ll see!

Nancy in the first romantic encounter in the bathtub together, talking about unclogging the toilet and pushing down the stool and all these unpleasant details, it was unfortunate.
This proves what we already know, that when they cast these shows, readiness to be (seriously) married is rarely a factor. Is Cole the ultimate man-child? What he needs are play dates!

So when ole dude said he wasn’t gonna take care of EVERYTHING, you can tell she lost all interest and wanted to make it KNOWN (like was the clapping in the exercising necessary, she wanted him to hear it).
In contrast to SK, there’s a stigma that Nigerians are rich, so she’s thinking that she scored a potential gold mine, cause you can tell she’s not really feeling him like that, especially since they weren’t even super physical initially.

It's like SK is so kind and respectful towards Raven and they actually seem to have deep meaningful conversations but they don't really go anywhere cuz Raven seems a bit off-putting. Cole sucks. Andrew is scary af. Bartise started great but then he showed his true side and damn, he shallow as hell.
Andrew has a god complex because he’s insecure. He is so inauthentic it’s disturbing! A lot of the cast needs therapy more than a spouse.
Raven act like she is too good for SK.
If I’m being honest, I don’t think Alexa likes Brennon. I was scared it was going to be the other way around based on her body, but her body language is super off towards him

I'm so glad the producers exposed andrew because even though he was saying a lot, he just lacked personality imo. We didn't get to know anything personal about him, all of the stories he shared could just be retold by any travel person. I also feel like Raven is low key clout chasing, she just seemed over the whole experiment overall.
it was crazy how colleen got mad at people for objectifying her because she was a ballerina but she deliberately offered that information. If she were to change things up she could just say she works in the arts. I think she's putting blame in the wrong direction and needs to self evaluate.

fr, she’s stuck in that middle school “acting like a girl” phase so that men will be attracted to her, but it obviously attracts perverted men. I almost feel bad for her, but then she plays victim so much that I just can’t. Literally both times she claims to be “rejected” she made it seem like they hurt her so badly and dramatized the situations

Bartise failed already as in the whole point of the show was to go in not caring about the physical look of the person and see if you can emotionally connect with that person but because he saw raven looks he completely forgot about how they didn’t emotionally connect well so I already know he going to mess it up with Nancy and I’m pretty sure raven is going to call it quits with SK at the altar
I can’t really tell yet but it seems like Alexa isn’t really into Brennan which makes me sad because he is someone who accepts her 100% and she just seems very dry and awkward with him. 😩

I think she's just a little insecure and was probably nervous if he thought any other other women was attractive. Alexa is beautiful though. She shouldn't be if she is. But I am eager to see what happens. They're my favorite couple

I’m honestly want Lauren and Cam to like be in the show like giving advice to the couples before the get married like ep 8 each season cause they are the only ones that are at least successful couple coming out of the experience
For Love is Blind S1, I watched the recap first and then got interested in watching it. So, for S2 I watched the episodes first and then wished I only watched the recap. So now, after watching this recap I'm thankful I just watched the recap I do not like any of these people or their love stories to spend the hours watching the full episodes. I'm so frustrated with Andrew! Asian-American representation, he's good looking and (wants to?)/appears smart, and yet he's such a douche? They really couldn't find someone better? I hate this show (yet I'm always back for a new season, so joke's on me).
Also I'm mad that we finally get some "fat" representation, but only one of the women, none of the men, and the first thing they have Alexa talk about is her weight. At least that was the only time so far I think, let's hope it was just this once.
Love is blind gives me nightmares- so I only watch your recaps and not the show… but if I was on the show I’d date SK cause my initials are also SK and our couple name could just be Sksk or something. Lol
