- See how you can make yourself an awesome looking and performing microphone for your desktop or laptop, with some common things lying around you
The main equipment is a dead earphone, because we will extract the condenser from the earphone and use it for making the microphone.
I have used a 3.5mm jack port for connecting the mic, but if you don't find it then you can directly cut down the aux cable, and then connect the mic wires directly to it.
As the base you can use anything that you feel like, such as cardboard, juice can, tin, or anything suitable
Attaching a switch is optional

wire mesh is readily available at hardware stores. get a small part of it, and cut it with scissors and paste into a frame made of juice can

laptops have one 3.5mm port : 4 sections of the pin determine audioL audioR ground and Mic
the interface used in this diy mic is the dual 3.5mm port : 3 sections of pin determine micL micR micGround
so you gotta use usb sound card that provides dedicated ports for headphone andmicrophone
or get a splitter for aux port that will divide it into 2 parts for mic and speeakers

yes but make sure to isolate them properly, or it may result in static background noise
just finish the wiring and then test how the sound is
if it is good, head up to make the enclosure
if there is too much of noise then make the mic with single condenser

for 360 degree, use a large sized condenser
for quality use an external sound amp OR good software interface
using a preamp circuit is optional
without a circuit it will consist of a bit of bg noise which can easily be edited out of the file
