I just live peacefully, keep to myself very much, don't bug anyone, and PRAY the same be done unto me. Sadly tho, that is simply not how it always goes. I HAVE experienced a truly psycho neighbour who "picked me" about 3 summers ago as her latest "target" of heavily disturbing me. it was insane/outrageous. a truly psychotic person is a SCARY thing. and there's SOOO much more than that out there amongst us. It’s very difficult, near enough impossible for a person to put their hand through the letterbox and steal the mail. I’m also glad that here in the Uk Amazon doesn’t just leave our packages on our front doorstep/porch. If the person isn’t home they either leave the package with a neighbour you trust and you’ve said you want it left with them, or they come back the next day.
I have had a couple of packages left by my front door, which really annoyed me because I live in flats. They have been stolen a few times so I know it had to be one of my untrustworthy neighbours. I have had a few stolen from around in my back porch, but that was when I first started buying from Amazon and I used it as my safe place. I was really stupid and naive back then though. I’m not so naive now though, my safe place is my neighbour who I really trust, or I message Amazon a date and time I will be home. Then they will send the package out with the driver who is doing my route at the time I will be home. I do think if Amazon started dealing with packages here in the Uk the way they do in the US, and just left them on people’s porches. We would definitely have the same problem, and porch pirates would become just as big as a problem here as they are in the US.

I went back to talk to my neighbor and his daughter informed me they were going around checking people door knobs. I said well they come in here uninvited they will be in for a Big surprise.
A hour later they come back down the street we just looked at them.
