What’s up..yes,,thanks for the information. The z fold was tempting but I decided to go with Apple 🍎. I wonder if anyone knew that the new iPhones have a feature that won’t let you use Home Screen in landscape mode. It’s not a deal breaker, but I wish for a change in the upgrade next year.Also try the new “Book app”,, it has a lot of settings for easy reading on the new iPhones.

Hey I bought a z fold 3 for 275 off Facebook with an understanding that I couldn't use it with service only on wifi. Honestly it's amazing and I am glad I never traded for it using my daily driver or something to Verizon because it's not a work day to day phone for me. I use it weekends and nights after work. And at home wifi works great. And if I am on the road then my hotspot works amazing. For 275 it was a godsend and well worth it. I can't call people ooh well there is Facebook messenger and other things haha
I'm looking to buy a fold 4 and the price doesn't seem justified for a phone. I might wait for the 5 and get the fold 3. 🤣

All in all, unless you want that improvement in the camera, then there's no reason to upgrade. I mean, I got the fold 3 and my battery life lasts me all day long with no issues. The 888 works pretty well still. The 8 gen 1 was horrible and killed battery in my s22 ultra fast. I haven't tried anything with the 8gen 1+ yet, but I've heard good things. But yeh even the barely slightly wider outside screen isn't enough to upgrade...maybe if they made it as wide as oppo's where the outside screen feels like a real phone screen.
I have the Z FOLD 3.
I don't take selfies, or use the selfie cam(s).
When I take a picture of something, I open the phone, and point and shoot.
But, I notice the quality of my photos are somewhat blurry and grainy, even holding still.
Is the problem with the quality of the camera?
Or, do I need to make some sort of setting adjustment on the camera, to make the photo clearer?

I've had every Note that came out. I have the Fold 1, 2, and 3. After watching a few reviews and handling the Fold 4, it makes absolutely no sense to upgrade. I guess I'll wait to see what the Fold 5 has to offer.
I've always used Note also. I currently have the last Note 20 Ultra. Should I buy a Fold 3 or 4. There's a $600 difference.

I'm the same I had the note 2, 4 and now I have the 8 and didn't decide to upgrade since the note isn't what it once was. I'm debating to get the fold 4 but the price is so high just seems excessive for a phone.
@@hardcorecasual6608 I decided on the Fold 3. I scored a used one in excellent condition from eBay. It cost me $545 total. I really like the phone.
Two things I don't like.
During normal use battery gets to 15% by dinner time. Heavy use have to charge at lunch time.
The other is, I have trouble when texting with it closed. Hitting 1, q, a keys sucks. I had to removed the front screen cover to text faster.
Both problems can be overcome. If you watch reviews of fold 3 VS 4, the 4 has a slightly wider front screen. But is it worth paying $100?not to me.
I'm happy with the fold 3, I'd buy it again.

Hey Dude! I know this doesn't have anything to do with the video but if I have a GoPro Hero10 shooting in 4K 60, and I want to edit the footage smoothly, which to buy: iPad 9 or iPad Air 5.
SD888 was the first gen using the X1 core and it shows with thermals and efficiency. The 8+Gen1 is a much more refined SoC that it honestly feels like it's 1 1/2 generations ahead of the SD888. That alone would be the main reason to upgrade if you had issues with thermals and performance issues. Otherwise, keep the ZFold3 and wait for the 5.
yup, my wife has the fold 3 and I have the 4, and I like to game and run emulators on mine and I'm always multitasking, but it's a night and day difference and how much faster the fold 4 is compared to the 3, also there's certain games and emulators that the 3 cannot handle at all that the 4 handles flawlessly.
@@xKillZone99 My gf have the Flip4 and I have the ZFold3. Running the same game with all the eye candy on and max refresh rate, my Fold3 runs at least 10 degrees hotter than her Flip4, which leads to battery drain and throttling on my Fold3.
@@Gabilleta I've never tried the flip before, idk how well it runs tbh, I heard mostly negative things about the flip compared to the fold so it scared me from trying them out.
@@xKillZone99 she's had the Flip since the first one and never had a problem, and she doesn't baby the thing. But like with everything, there's always the chance for defect.

I got z fold 3 for $700 after using z fold 4 for a week and return it. Save over $1100 as upgrade not worth the price difference
You should've traded it in during pre order you would've got a 1000 for trade in... I paid $700 for my z fold 4plus war buds plus fallacy watch 5 pro.
I paid $460 off ebay for a fold 3 and received what looks like a brand new phone four updates behind meaning if someone did use it, it couldn't have been long. When I logged into Samsung members to purchase care+ it showed my warranty start day as that day so I guess nobody registered it. I went ahead with care+ for $11 a month anyways just incase.

Got my Fold 3 on a sale last week at Samsung Store. Reasonable amount, battery is not that good but I fixed my settings, off unneccessary features to extend battery lifs. Nonetheless, I'll be using this as back-up phone as I have iphone 14 pro max as main phone. Now using Fold 3 to watch this video ❤

Great video. So, if I have the z fold 3 now do you think its worth upgrading to the 4? I have been considering but unsure if I want to do the like 1k down payment. However, I dropped my phone last month and the front screen does have some cracks in it. If I were to do the insurance for it, they would send me a replacement z fold 3..but it would be a refurbished. So unsure how well that would be.

how is the screen protector adhesion on the internal display? I have the fold3 and I'm just starting to have the inside screen's protector peel up. the only reason I'd upgrade is if they solved that issue and it stays put.
To be fair, the Fold 4 is still fairly new so there's not a ton of "real-world" feedback I can give you. It's still perfect, but I'm sure (hope) your Fold 3 was perfect after a few months.
if you think about it the inner selfie camera is better because it shoots thrugh more pixels but has the same quality

i think the fold 3 has a bit height than the fold 4 the front screeen is clearly a bit better on the 4 though but proabbly not enought to update.

Just got a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 in perfect condition (Amazon-renewed) for like 1/2 the price of the Z Fold 4.
Mine is the 'silver' model and I am loving it. I will most likely wait for the Z Fold 5 in 2023 to upgrade.
I downloaded 'Asphalt9' onto my Z Fold 3 and it just froze when I tried to run it. Interesting, will have to experiment.

So there's an elephant in the room. Owners of the fold 3 are starting to experience the screen protector installed by Samsung starting to peel up and bubble. I've had to have it fixed twice...and each time Samsung tries to say it's not a warranty item. The repair center says it's happening with many of them, they do it all day (a 4 hour repair), depending on how often you open and close it. So.....buyer beware on this new tech.
I’ll be getting the z fold 3 because it isn’t enough differences for me, mainly because I don’t really use the camera much, I will still use it though

Does anyone know if this fold4s memory cache and things related are good? For example, I'm a doordash driver, and I've been having nothing but issues with my app ever since I switched to the S22U, and I've heard this phone does great when it comes the the memory operation and I've been really debating to switch to a fold. I like the idea of a phone that doubles as a tablet but the crease/ hinge and also not compatible with my iPad 9. I’m at the point of getting a new phone and just got the iPad 9. So it’s either go back to Samsung or go with a new iPhone.Then the big question: MacBook or Chromebook.( I don’t have a laptop or desktop)LoL..it might sound silly, but I can’t stop thinking about the iPad mini 6. Any advice you have is welcome, because when I got home with the IPad 9 64gb wifi only,well now I wish I had got more storage. Anyway keep the videos coming,,GOD Bless You
It would depend on how important the ecosystem is to you - if you're getting an iphone - then for sure macbook - because you're looking at iphone/ipad/macbook. If you get an Android phone, you can go either way. I think it's hard to beat the M1 MacBook Air (unless you're a gamer). Hope that helps.
With Samsung prime phones you don't need personal Mac or PC if you just use them for light work. Samsung Dex will do it for you. So, ZF3/ZF3 is a phone, tablet and a PC.

Unfortunately I had to upgrade I drop my fold 3 and my front screen was scramble no visual and turns black and was a week out of warranty I wanted to wait for the 5 but it was going to cost me 350 to repair and At&t was going to give me 800 credit so I went ahead an upgraded hopefully I can at least have it more that yr🤣 went with the Grey green

How many people actually wirelessly charge their phones? Honestly I used it with the galaxy S7 but after that… never even bothered using it again. Especially considering how much slower it is to charge compared to wired charging.

Honestly, the iphone 12 is a great phone still. If you're looking to buy a new phone, maybe wait for the fold 5 to come out and buy the fold 4 then. These get discounts quickly after they're not the current model anymore but the fold 4 will still be new and novel.

I'm replying to your comment on my fold 3. I'm juggling with the idea of selling mine for the 4 only because of the battery life. Mine is one year old and the battery lasts for around 4,5 hours of screen on time and the new one should go up to 6 hours. Now you're going to ask me if I need more than that. On some days yes, I do. Due to my work, I'm online the whole time and I hate getting battery anxiety... That's all. If you don't need a looong battery life, go for the 3. The experience is the same and you save big on $€.
I use an old pixel 3xl more than I use my fold so I'm thinking about the Pixel 7 pro coming out today. I've had every Samsung flagship since note 5 but I'm liking this old pixel so much. The Fold is so heavy and it slips out of my pocket a lot. I've cracked it twice.
The Fold 3 is a good option and it's now running the same software as the Fold 4. I've owned both but sold the 4 and went back to using the 3. I can't say I notice much difference.
Important to note that the fold 3 has a taller inside display which results in a bigger image when watching movies, CZcams videos and usually these videos dont mention it
i will wait and see what the fold 5 is like before i consider updating at this stage.
I have got three Z fold 4 phones in the past year and a half. The only reason I haven't got a totally different phone is because, the insurance sends me a phone. Plan on replacing at one point. Love the large screen but my other phone was just replaced last September 2023. Now it January 2024 and had to get a new one.

The current trade-in credit for good condition Z3 is $1,000. That is a super good deal. My remaining balance of my z3 is $1,090. If I trade in, my total due is $900. Which is less than what my balance was. I think it would be a good deal for me to trade in for the Z4.
In 2025, if Z5 comes out with a built-in pen slot, I'm screwed.

The crease is not that noticeable on every day use you honestly forget about it, and the underneath display camera.. so far I had my Z4 for three weeks and loving it.. battery life is good could be a little better.. The display is absolutely beautiful, every other day I’m finding something new I can do on my phone… honestly I like Apple but this is a game changer… very much the z4 is underrated! It’s worth the price point.. you’re getting two things in one, p.s Face ID could be a lot better but the fingerprint scanner is extremely fast.. The only problem that I have is why is the case so expensive for just two parts👎🏽 do not get the Samsung case it is not worth it $100 no sir

The finger print scanner sucks lol yes it’s fast but it fails to read my finger print on the 1st try it’s absolutely garbage

@@oo0024 I disagree because my fingerprint scanner works every time on the 1st time, I tell you what take your fingerprint scanner off and redo it, The face recognition what sucks , And yeah you do that it sounds to me you're just not a fold type of guy ... I'm giving them my honest feedback it sounds like you're just hating, And what I mean by the crease I'm Comparing it to all the other folders out there and the past iterations it's actually got better and not as noticeable as all of the others.. Battery life do suck a little but it charge pretty fast.. Underneath camera trash but it's not like you're going to use it like that... Overall I give it a 7 to 8.5 out of 10 and that's comparing it to all phones and iphones.. So yes it's worth it ..ps The speaker could be a little Louder , But it's not bad at all It's just a phone of this size it should be annoying loud

@@swagger6166 I completely agree but I'll say it again I'm comparing it to other Fold phones battery life is better than all the other ones so you really can't argue with it, You basically have a tablet and a phone realized that... But if you take off the always on display and lower it down to 60 huz the battery life is just like every other phone, Everything on my phone is maxed out and I'm using it hard and I'm averaging around close to 6 to 7 hours , But I also have my battery limited to 85%, I never charge it to a 100%
I got the 4 for free for my 3 that needed to be replaced but they shipped me the 4 so free upgrade I'll take it

If you don't have either one, it's probably a no-brainer - if you have the 3, I wouldn't really upgrade unless it was pretty much an even swap

I did run for it, samsung took my fold 3. Which after one year has a ton of use and abuse, and after savings, discounts and trade in, im only paying 400 for the fold 4. Newer phone and less damage, ill take it.
I'm using my ZFold3 about 1 year and I really can say the diferences between Zf3 & Zf4 are minimal aestethic speaking there is no upgrade on that side... the front screen is a litle more wide but is really almost the same as ZF3! Is a litle more shorter than Zf3 and I feel it weight the same as ZF3 so the module cameras on ZF4 are slighty more bigger... and main camera on ZF4 is 50mp so! Visually is identicall to ZF3 the only upgrade I see on the ZF4 is the main camera 50mp and the chipset snap 8+gen1 that is a big upgrade! Since the snap 888 that uses ZF3 to snap 888+ snap 8 gen1 and the latest snap8+ gen1! But starting 2023 samsung will provide snap 8 gen 2 to its futures celphones! So I will wait a litle more before I buy my next plegable phone!

I’m looking at it for my first samsung foldable. I’ve frankly been waiting for a minimalistic upgrade because that tells me they’ve, at least for now, reached a good place with their foldables.

I have the Fold 3 just over a year old and the screen protector is coming away from the screen, Samsung will not fix under warranty. I was going to upgrade to the Fold 5 next year but after this Samsung has lost a loyal customer.
You can always peel it off and use it without it or buy one and apply it. The manufacturer warranty is only for 1 year so I'm not surprised Samsung will not cover it if you've had it for more than 1 year.
Some people say don't buy an iPad M1 processor now, wait for an iPad M2 processor. What do you think?

I am worried about the price of the M2; being in the UK, with the pound dumpster diving, the iPhone price rises may seem a bargain compared to the new iPad. If you are in the US, that will not be a problem. A 20% increase in M2 iPad Pro will push many people away. So if you can get a good deal on the M1, then you may save hundreds.
The camera quality become blurry is even worst than those less than US$300 normal smartphones with 20MP. Truely Disappointing

Coming from someone who's owned the fold 3 for a year the crease is really a non issue. U can feel it occasionally but I rarely use that portion of the screen directly to need to touch there plus visually u don't even notice it.

I can't justify getting a phone for $1000 with half the features of my s22 ultra but maybe if I got it for $700 I'd be ok lol (plan on using it as a backup anyways) 🤷🏾♂️🤣 but anyways just saying don't let the crease deter you from a great phone. My only complaint is battery on my fold 3. Other than that I've loved using this the year I've had it and if they offered a better trade in value on the fold 3 I would be on the 4 right now. You could probably even get a used fold 3 for like $700-$1000 on eBay and we just got the oneui 4.1.1 update that brings the taskbar from the fold 4 to the 3 so really besides battery u won't miss much between the 3 and 4.

@@swagger6166 also look into getting the spen fold edition and Samsung aramid carbon fiber case (for the fold 3, I don't believe Samsung has one for the fold 4 though Latercase makes one). The cases look great and are very slim but offer minimal protection.

The first thing you notice once you hold the Fold 4 in your hand, is the lightness and brightness in comparison to the previous versions.
That's more than enough to call for an upgrade.

Hopefully the zfold 5 will have an spen slot, bigger battery, ip rating dust resistant, 45~65W wired charging and 15~25W wireless charging with 7.5W reverse wireless charging, even a wider outer and inner display making it mini iPad 6 size when unfolded, get rid of crease, please put s23 ultra sensors and make the under display camera 300 ppi I don't care about them improving the under display camera quality it's only meant for basic video calls and facetime just make the outer display wide enough because no one takes selfie on tablet sized display but please make the cover display camera 40MP, upper the RAM to 16GB on 1TB model, u would want that RAM on such mad insane storage, the biggest thing we are into the 4ᵗʰ gen product and still having defect issues like it shouldn't exist anymore it's not acceptable this isnt the 1ˢᵗ or 2ⁿᵈ gen innovation now. Make the inner display more scratch resistant because I'm worried that using spen on the zfold like pencil and paper can put marka on your display because my always being worried and pressing really light isn't giving u natural feeling so make it more durable and scratch resistant, oh I almost forgot they should add spen support to the front display because alot of us just like to navigate with the spen or ability to take quick note without having to have open the display would be a nice edition.
It's ABSOLUTELY PEAK STUPIDITY for Samsung to not include the S-Pen and the case in the box already since you're paying for such a high amount of price, plus there's no charger inside the box either like what the heck was Samsung thinking? They are even willing to make an EXCLUSIVE W series foldable smartphone for CHINA EXCLUSIVELY and they won't even bother to provide the best experience when it comes to packaging for the global Z Fold 4s?

Good or bad thing about android phones is that they don't retain value so wait for ppl to buy and decide the phone ain't for then, then buy it over from them at hugely discounted price hahahahaa
paid £800 for my fold 4 512gb second hand from cash convertors here in the UK. The reason why it was £800 was due to the back panel were the camera is being cracked. It's just the back panel and not the camera so I called samsung they advised me it will cost around £70 to get it fixed. I traded my s22 ultra and got £550 part exchange for the fold 4 so I ended up paying £250. Tbh once I buy a case for the fold 4 it will cover the back of the phone anyway.
