I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which is almost 5 years old and it's tiem to upgrade to a newer Samsung. My faithful Galaxy Note 9 has an S-Pen, the functionality of a Secure Folder (where I store all my banking apps and sensitive notes) and most importantly an external Micro SD card slot. The intrinsic memory of my Galaxy Note 9 is just 128 GB but I use an external memory card that gives me an additional 786 GB of extra space.
The Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy S23 Ultra both have a S-Pen (a discrete S-Pen in Z Fold 5 is the biggest disadvantage I think, mainly because I tend to misplace small things). Could you please tell me which phone, the Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy S23 Ultra has Secure Folder and a slot to accommodate an external Micro SD Card to enhance the storage capacity? Thanks so much!

As a previous iPhone owner I'm really glad I spent an hour with this video. The Fold 5 is an amazing device. After watching this I've gone from trying to use the Fold 5 like an iPhone, to becoming a Fold power user.

Nice tips. I'm still deciding if I want to drop the 2k for it.
For me, step 1 for any phone or PC is to immediately change the sound from stereo to mono. As a unilaterally deaf person, being able to change this is a godsend - I can finally use headphones and still hear everything. (And yay for hearing aid streaming!)
You're tutorial was the most informant of I have ever seen clear, precise in easily understandable for older person like me.
Oh, and just to add at tip you might like. You said you liked the Swift key keyboard. You may also want to check out the GBoard optional keyboard, which has meaningfully changed the way I interact with the device. No longer do I have to switch keyboards between letters, numbers and symbols -- they're all on one split keyboard! True genius.
Yesssssss Gboard is a minimal keyboard that is flawless in its execution! I have been using it for years, I cannot use another keyboard again. It's a bit plain, but works better than any other keyboard I've ever used.

Finally, someone who discussed the edge panel in Fold 5. I see the feature to download additional panes in the galaxy store is not available on the Fold5. I'm so used to having the calendar and quick notes on the edge with my NoteUltra, but it's not present in fold 5?

Switched to the fold 5 from an iphone 13 pro, two weeks ago, on my birthday. This video is amazing. Never had a samsung phone, but dont mind trying something different. My first phones were windows os, then went to ios in 2015. Total overhaul of my life, but this video has helped me significantly. I've spent more than an hour with it, as i have to pause, go customize or update something, then come back. I also got the classic 6 watch and am anticipating going through that video as well, to help me be a pro and not take for-ev-er trying to complete normal tasks.

I did the exact same thing I had a 13 pro got tired of all the apple hype for nothing it was the same phone wanted something different so got the z fold 5 kinda steamed the z fold 6 is supposedly coming out oh well I'm enjoying my fold so much lol

I've noticed it takes a tad longer to charge and I've run out of battery a couple of times, but I'm also not charging as consistently as I charged my iphone, particularly because of the bulky case I picked to hold the pen. However, I don't hate my phone choice and am not complaining daily about the battery life. I do complain daily about the watch battery because I was coming from a garmin forerunner and only charged once a week. 🤦♀️

Thinking about upgrading from my Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. As a lefthanded person, I want to thank you for noting that you can access the fingerprint scanner with your left index finger. I was trying to find an answer to whether I would be able to access that one handed since I use my left hand for everything. Your video was the first I saw that mentioned that. 😊

I just got the Samsung Fold 5 the other day and I'm happy so far.
You can just guess what image is going to be taking up the real estate on this phablet when it arrives. This was really informative too. I chose the ringke case w spigen glass protector.

It’s insane how many options these phones have now! I get the feeling I’ve barely scratched the surface on my z flip 3. I have the fold 5 arriving in a few days and can’t wait to have a mess about with all the settings.

Dolby Atmos is for decoding spacial audio to stereo speakers. Usually Netflix has stereo tracks too so no need to do any conversion

25:02 This seems like not available on all devices depending on the region of the phone been sold. My Z Fold 5 pre-installed an app called AdGuard serves as VPN to secure WiFi.
I just got mine from ebay! I cant wait to use it since I’ve used apple all my life.
I've always been able to change my text tone through zedge but it's not giving me the option this time. Is there another way to change it just for my text message?

While it's useful to change the base notification sound, I think it would be extremely helpful to include how to change individual App notification sounds. Seems like a simple concept to me, have your text notification different from your email notification, etc. However, the Android OS has this buried 6 layers deep in the OS!!!!!
