I kept asking myself: "What about Alex, when will he marry Alex?" when he stopped talking about Alex, and then when he mentioned about Alex again, my heart stopped. Man.

Awww I’m so sorry to hear that!! My baby girl was my best friend for 14 years - I got her when I was 3. She got diagnosed with bone cancer January this year. We put her down the day we took her in 😢❤️ I hope you are okay 💕

Whose here after Jazza posted the checking my childhood pictures and drawings. Its sad to here about Alex. I got so sad in his last video. I know how much Alex ment to you. Its so sad to see that she passed away. I wish I could give you a hug. I cried in this video too.
OMG, except for the smelly part, is like I was watching a stranger drawing my life. I was born and raised in a "perfect family" we werent rich but we were happy as I was a kid everything was okay. At school I was an awkward girl that had only one friend, I was very weird and spent most of the time drawing in class, I was a mormon until I turned 18 (although I never went to the mission since back then if you were a female you had to wait till you were 21 to go to the mission) I became agnostic and now Im trying to take art more seriously since is truly the only thing im passionate about, thats how I came accross to Jazza and here I am, telling my story to strangers.

Hey Jos, what an amazing video. That was my exact experience leaving the Mormon church. You may or may not remember me but I went to your branch in Moe and even spent time at your house playing games in your saloon area and painting warhammer figurines in that back playroom area. I also remember riding a dirt bike for the first time in at your place and crashing into a fence! My dad illustrated than train book written by your dad, I can't remember it's name. I was 2 years older than you and was a prolific artist too but I never took my art anywhere because I had trouble with feeling inferior to other artists. When I discovered your success 5-6 years ago I felt a little jealous, but now I'm just really proud to see how you developed over your life and the success you have achieved personally, and professionally. I don't know how to reach you but if you see this, would love yo chat some time. Keep it up mate, Ben.

Arctic Gaming every life has it’s tragedy
As Dixie said, every life has it's tragedy, and it's the tragedies which hit us hardest. We've all felt like an outcast at some point, and we've all lost someone or something important to us at one time or another.
I remember being a kid and watching draw with Jazza in the early 2010s. I loved to draw and was obsessed with comics. My favourite hero was Wolverine (still is). I used to try and copy your drawing of Wolverine over and over again.
I'm 22 now and here I am watching this video and tearing up. I didn't understand a lot of the concepts of grief and existentialism that hit you when I first watched this all those years ago but now that I'm older I fully get it.
That was by far the most beautiful draw my Life I have ever seen

I love your videos and have watched you for years. This was the first time I have seen this one. I am sitting in my kitchen at 12:30 at night with tears in my eyes. Thanks for sharing such a personal story. My eight year old son and I watch you all the time. We say your intro all the time and argue about who gets to be Jazza. But enough of our silliness. Just wanted you to know you bring a lot of joy into our lives and we really love you for it. It makes me happy to see what a great life you ended up with and how successful you are after those harder earlier days. You are an inspiration.

I was 6 when my grandma died of breast cancer, my 11 month old kitten was run over when I was 9/10, my dog put down when I was 10, and the day after my dog’s death my granddad passed away from Alzheimers/Dementia.
The year after my great aunt passed away at the age of 99, and this year I was diagnosed with type one diabetes, which made me depressed for a while. I made though it though but some of it is still there
I’ve had a pretty rough life so far but I am an artist and that helps me through everything ^^
So touching, when you confess high school and your knee problem... that you trust us.... and how sad too! Especially when Alex dies... you’ve been through so much and you’re young... but you keep a smile on your face.

But for me it's kind of bittersweet.
I lost my cat 4 years ago and I still tear up whenever I am reminded of her.
I've grown up my whole life having her by my side, so the bond is not something I'll ever forget really.

I don't expect you to ever see this, but I wanted to say it anyway. I had a new kitty in 2012 and we moved into a new apartment not long after I left my girlfriend at the time... in early 2013, I had a nightmare that I took her to the vet, found out she had cancer, and that she died. I was pretty distraught over it, but shortly after I saw this video and it made me feel a little better because I knew that while neither of us would be around forever, we were best friends and that I couldn't waste my time worrying about a thing like mortality. I never forgot that... not even until three weeks ago, when I took her to the vet, found out she had lung cancer, and that we had to say goodbye. She died about 6 days later.
I'm heartbroken, don't get me wrong. I'm crying even as I type this. But ultimately, I know she had a happy life and that she loved me, and she knew that she was my best friend and that I loved her too. I wanted to come say thank you, because while I was trying to work through the grief, I thought about this video a lot and focused on the fact that I gave her the best years she could've possibly had and that while I'm sad, she isn't suffering now and soon I'll only be able to think about all the happy times and not how much it hurts that she's gone.

Jazza, you are an inspiration in so many ways. I love your artwork and your videos and listening to you sing, alternating between serious and completely goofy in most videos. You inspire me to draw more. And I get what you mean about reading music, I learned a couple of times in high school, once for choir and once for band, but was never good at either of those so I forgot, and was really never good at it to begin with. I prefer to play by ear and just sort of mess around on the piano until I find what sounds right, or watch someone else play and learn it step by step that way. And I love your kitty. I have several cats that I adore, even if a couple don't know what to think of me. You've come so far and now you have a beautiful wife, two beautiful children (unless you've had another that I wasn't aware of...), and an adorable cat plus your dream job. I'm proud of you, and I know that might not mean much from some stranger on the internet, but I wanted to let you know all the same.

I nearly cried bc of the sentimental value he put *towards* the cat, making it seem that there was more to the cat's surface. And yeah I didn't cry because of the lady, why you ask. It's simple I didn't have any connections towards this woman like he did nor did I even know her. It's pretty obvious to why I didn't cry. However to make you feel better and not think I'm inhumane I did cry last year in September when a close friend of mine died of cancer… and that she had died on her birthday made it worse.
Word of advice. Don't assume shit if you don't know what it's about.

We need a refesher, Draw with Jazza became Jazza because Jazza wanted to be free and be able to do what he pleases. He has 4.6 people that follow his life through every video and support him in every way. We grew up in shockingly similar ways, in very different places. I never did follow through with my love for art, and learn how to do it better, but my appreciation for it is still very alive, and your channel is fantastic (if a little clickbaity these days). I'm grateful to have found this video and learned more about why you are.

Cuz they got the time. We got the time. Well due to this ppl like us had to find our ways to manage thru life, we find our passion, that one thing that kept us moving forward. If you'r passion saved your life and you love doing it, i guess it's self explaining that you'll eventually get good at it right? I can only speak for myself which is that i sort of escaped from the reality to the gym, I'm only 17 iv'e like to add, and there ive find my truly passion ( So for example I benchpress more than the record is in Sweden where i live for my weightclass, thats is nothing more than doing what you love to do.) . But you can't be there all the time ofc, so here I am watching this videos of "Draw with Jazza" and trying to learn whats important to me. When im not at the gym I love being creative, that's my best side i think. So thank you Jazza for those tutorials that maybe saved my life cuz because of this videos I am able to learn how to get good at what I love to do. Look at the 2 drawing videos I've got on my channel Jazza, all learned by you. thank you :) Big fan!

Ik this is an old video and I've been subbed to you since like 2013 but I've never actually seen this. The thing that really hit me was when you said you were suffering with an eating disorder because I am too and have been for many years. I just started crying and wanted to hug you *if thats okay because consent matters* hearing your struggles. It makes me really proud of what you've accomplished and done and who you are now and you just mean a lot to me. Honestly I spent like 12 hours catching up on your videos today. I'm also happy to see Maximus! I remember him from your Sims let's play. Hes definitely so much cuter in rl and I'm very sorry for your loss💖 Sorry this is all rambly. I just wanted to say I appreciate you and your art and personality makes me so happy and actually really genuinely laugh in such a dark place in my life.
