Matchmakers TV Quiz Show, 1957

This is a bit mysterious. Can't seem to find any information about this program. It was produced by Allan Sherman (Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh) and hosted by Ted Brown - a NYC Radio deejay. This show has some minor difficulties, and mistakes throughout. The show's sponsor "New Pink Jazz" is obviously fictitious, so this may have been a pilot episode. Audrey Meadows makes a guest appearance.

Interesting concept, although I can't find anything with the "Ebay number".
* Sponsor could be Pink Jazz (and like Coca-Cola, had a "New Pink Jazz" at one point), but the promos are so incredibly vague ("I soak all my things...") that it has to be fake.
* They were already trying to make a home game plausible. "Top Secret" also had a home game, and also went unsold, but that one got released into stores.
* ...I guess Audrey Meadows needed some money?

@chrisbox51 It's Bobby Sherman. Which Chris is this? Matchmakers was an unsold pilot for NBC, created & produced by Allan Sherman. I think it was in 58 or 59, but I could be wrong. To convince NBC to buy it, my father wanted to build a small, simple, desktop gameboard to show them the game. So as a 8? year old kid, I wired up some batteries, light bulbs, bolts, and alligator clips and built a box of cardboard around it. My father cut pictures out of magazines to make the material for the demo.

I read your father's autobiography {"A Gift of Laughter"}, Robert, and he never mentioned this at all. He did talk about working for Nat Wolf at the time...
