  • People never understood my obsession with these cars, but at one time it's all I owned. I've run them on nitrous, turbo's and even supercharged one, but the turbo was by far my favorite. The upgrades featured here work great on a NA setup, but are necessary for any power adder you apply.

if you ziptie the butterflies open on the intake manifold, you mention having to adjust the throttle body. What do I need to do for that? Or will the computer adjust accordingly. I am currently saving a GT. Rescued in 2022.

I took the butterflies out of the intake and capped the hole in the end of the intake that held the rod. I then hooked my scan and adjust tool to the OBD port while I positioned the idle sensor on the side of the throttle body. I can't remember the exact setting for it and sadly I don't know where my notes are at. I need to find them because my converted 93 wagon to GT running gear got close to 70 miles to a gallon. Need those programs bad.

Sorry but I've been out of the salvage business for some time now. Used the money to get a Kenworth, hauled loads from coast to coast, got in a bad motorcycle accident, gave it all up for the cursing chair. All I do now is work on what I have left, smoke a little grass, and drink a little wine, and make videos for others to see. Sorry friend.
