HUNG/THICK CURD - 1/2 CUP ( USE 1/2 CUP CONDENSED MILK OR 2 EGGS SUBSTITUTE)
ORANGE ZEST - 1 TSP
MELTED BUTTER - 1/4 CUP
FLOUR - 1 CUP
BAKING POWDER - 1 TSP
BAKING SODA - 1/2 TSP
ORANGE JUICE - 1/2 CUP

This cake is delicious! I doubled the ingredients for a bigger cake and instead of the thick curd I used 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt and 2 eggs. It came out really good, I will definitely make it again. Thank you 🙏 for sharing this delicious and easy recipe.

I was really surprised and elated when the cake turned out to be yummy, with the taste of sugar as well as orange embedded in it, all due to first, sifting all the ingredients and not making a mistake in the addition of everything and finally, I think, pre heating the oven, which,as I mentioned, is something that I didn’t really stick to earlier. Butter usually has salt in it which is quite sufficient but yes salt is essential!

Tried this and it was the best orange cake! I did twice. One with condensed milk and the other using eggs. However, the one with condensed milk was too sweet for me. I loved the one with eggs. Perfect! Thank you for the recipe!

I was a lil perturbed when I saw that merely half a cup of sugar had been added but was reassured after I saw that I could add half cup of condensed milk and so the sugar would be sufficient. I was also happy that only a quarter cup of butter would be required, this makes the job of baking the cake much easier. I look forward to trying out this recipe tomorrow and will give you my feed back then.

200 C in oven is converted to about 400 F. I baked in oven. Depending on your altitude between 375 and 400 F in oven.

Curd reacts with baking soda to act as a leavener. Curd is used in cakes as a substitute for eggs.
If you add condensed milk then won't the sugar will reduce
