Keith and Jimmy also sang the Cold Chisel song "Flame Trees" together. It was at a Keith Urban concert and Jimmy popped in to sing with him. The great part is, every one in the audience knew the words. There is a clip on CZcams of it
Jimmy did this with inxs years ago. Most of the easybeats group, were uk immigrant kids. Harry Vanda and George Young stayed in the uk, to become a very successful writing team. Have you heard Hey st. Peter by Flash and the Pan. They had a hit with it themselves, after singers passed it up. They wrote Evie parts 1, 2, & 3, for Stevie Wright, former singer easybeats.

Hi Didy, first time poster.
Grew up with Jimmy/Cold Chisel music from the 70's right through to the present day.
Chisel were the best live band in my opinion, no gimmicks, just played 110% at every gig, and never let you down! Jimmy is still the same, gives his all and will sing with any singer anytime. He's sung with some big names, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, John Farnham, Joe Cocker, Michael Huchence just to name a few.
Would love Jimmy and family to team up with John Fogerty and his family, that would be a fun concert!
Bring Ian Moss in to share lead guitar and a extra blend of vocals.

This song was rerecorded for Jimmy's 30:30 Hindsight album in 2014 which was done to celebrate his 30 year career as a solo artist after leaving Cold Chisel. He had originally done this with Michael Hutchence and INXS in the 80's. This album also featured an updated version of "Stone Cold" with Joe Bonamassa and Tina Arena and Jacky Barnes on drums. It is another popular song for You Tube reviewers to cover. My personal favourite from the album is "Lay Down Your Guns" with the Aussie band The Living End.
