I'm from the U.S. and let me tell you that I'm 60 years old and I'm seeing and hearing Barnes for the first time today. NO ONE over here has any idea who he is. For whatever reason American radio has NEVER played him or Cold Chisel.

She pointed out the tourist hotel across the road and told me how it was filmed in the area. It featured the pub I was 50 feet from.

Yeah,so i'm from Melbourne (French parents),the pub scene was pretty amaaaziing back in the day, Jo-Jo Zep and the falcons, Kevin Borich,The Partyboys,Skyhooks,Mark Gillespie,Ross Haniford....and a band called Cold Chisel,have you ever heard of them ?
But yeah,I think music is very important to Australians, well it is to me.
I've sort of done the opposite to you (with your Scottish background) i came over here for a holiday, couldn't speak a word,I still have a hard time with the language,they know i'm not French soon as i open my mouth,I suppose only imigants could understand.

The first time I saw you was in the song 'Big Enough' with Kirin J Callinan. I decided to see what kind of music a guy with such a voice made. Never would have guessed one Google search could change my life so much! You've been one of my favorite artists ever since!

When Jimmy played in Cairns in 2019 it was 9 months after losing my little sister and hearing this song helped me get all my emotions out, I cried A LOT, screamed and danced the night away.
