Brilliant. Jimmy Barnes is the greatest male rock vocalist ever. Not top-10, not top-3... he's #1 and a fair distance ahead of the pack. Jimmy started as the lead singer for Cold Chisel, an Australian pub-rock band, in 1973 then went solo in the 80s. In Australia, he's got more #1 albums/singles than anyone ever. He never broke through internationally, which is one of the greatest crimes against music in the universe. You could do a whole reaction channel on Jimmy Barnes and he's got so much material you'd be going forever. He's well worth taking a deep dive into. One of the greatest live performers ever and an awesome person.

Welcome to Australian music. May i suggest you check out Jimmy Barnes's original band Cold Chisel. Check out Wild thing by Cold Chisel live The Last Stand. This is a young Jimmy Barnes absolutely killing it and Ian Moss crushing it on guitar. Enjoy.
Alternatively, young Mr. Vickers might well prefer to stick with vintage Barnes rather than the one that sunk a full bottle of Vodka on stage in his youth and didn’t sound this good. Young people have evolved; but there’s so many Cold Chisel fans wanting others to relive their youth.

Jimmy's voice is amazing. Another performance to react to is John Farnham with Jimmy Barnes singing LIVE, When Something is Wrong With My Baby, (my favourite version is from Hey, Hey it's Saturday), you won't be disappointed two Aussie GOAT's jamming and having fun together. Such skill and respect for each other.

You need to check out Jimmy Barnes' original band from when he was a rocker, Cold Chisel. See Cold Chisel doing 'Wild Thing' live at the Last Stand in the early 1980s. It's one of those live performances that will blow your mind. Jimmy has always been amazing. 😉

Cold chisel went to the US but rang into trouble with a music executive who wanted to change them too much so cold chisel came home and wrote a hit song called “you’ve got nothing I want” lol 😂 a big “FU”
If you want to see Jimmy really showing his phenomenal vocals you should listen to him sing “change gonna come”
And/or him singing with a group of other legendary musicians “knocking on heavens door” at a memorial for a musician who died too young

I would like to recommend that you listen to a self taught guitar player from the 70’s named Tommy Bolin, he played with groups like Zephyr, The James Gang and Deep Purple as well as being a session guitarist that was in demand. I would suggest the album called Teaser and his song Wild Dogs, you won’t be disappointed specially since you're enjoying this cut by Barnes and Bonamassa.
