For any body in english . This engine has a variable oil pump the valve he is replacing cancels this raising the oil pressure from 2 bar at idle to 5 bar . Stoping the issue of bearing failure. The valve has a spring it in that fails . Part number 0019905317 mercedes part stop this from happening again . You leave other one connected and replace it hope this helps someone this video helped me but language i didnt under stand
@@mglux4515 i was pulling my hair out with a sprinter that had blown up on me that solenoid had gone bad and starved engine of oil . . The engine has a standard oil pump rotary . The oil pressure is adjusted by the part he is removing the orginal adjust 2 bars at idle and 5 on higher revs . The modification raises it to constantly 5 bars . The solenoid can go bad and completely starve the engine cause major damage
@@eoghanhennessy443 On my 250 cdi its always at 2 bars at idle and in high revs, i think that valve is bad cause it has to be higher pressure on higher speeds.. But its always about 2 bars.
Mine is 0.8bar at idle and 1bar at 2500rpm. Mesaured on the head, there is a tap m12x1.5 on the opposite side of distribution chain, where do you guys mesaure oil pressure?

So from factory there is always just 2 bars? At idle or high speed so when you replace it with plug it goes 2-5 bar depending of speed.
