You can literally watch any basketball game and you'll have people walking on the court even DURING plays on the OTHER side of the court (bench players, coaches, and courtside fans).

The hardest sport to make it to the big leagues is not the NBA it’s the MLB. It has to do with the fact that the MLB farm system works completely differently than any other major sport. If you get drafted number 1 in the NBA or the NFL most the time you go straight into the starting lineup. Meanwhile in baseball there have been no. 1 overall picks that NEVER even made an appearance in a major league game.
For context about why chat was so upset and rightly so: Thats Shannon Sharpe, who not only is on that show with Skip Bayless, but is probably one of the most beloved media personalities in America and further. He is also one of the greatest players at his position in NFL history and is in the Hall of Fame. He's hilarious and is like that fun uncle that people have who parties and does wild stuff but also dispenses wisdom on the daily.
The game was stopped at halftime when the incident at the game took place, he never stepped foot on the court, he was standing on the sidelines going back and forth with Dillion Brooks, who is probably one of the most disliked players in the entire league, for a famous celebrity there's absolutely nothing wrong with what he did, as a basketball fan I thought it made for fantastic viewing.
