How to Solder Wire on to the Battery Terminal

Use 16 gauge 99.9% copper wires for building a full size scooter battery pack with 100A controller. 12 gauge is fine but not necessary.
Or you can use 3 x 20 gauge wires wrap around the main thick wire and solder and apply heatshrink. Solder each 20 gauge wire on to the battery terminal end for easy soldering. If you have a 12V solder gun it will be easier to solder thicker wires..

*DISCLAIMER* : Be sure to sand the terminal end of the nickel strip where you are going to solder the wire(s) to. That will make the solder to stick good. It also increases conductivty. Use 80 grit sand paper.
