  • Melilla has been a Spanish city since 1497, just a few years after the Christian kingdoms in the Iberian peninsula concluded the Reconquista. There is so much history to be found in this city on the North African coast, and the best place for this is to wander into Melilla Old Town, or Melilla la Vieja, like I did on this cloudy but warm March day.
Join me on a discovery tour through forts and tiny streets.
