Bro, you just absolutely walked through my path too. Handy man, bathroom remodel, Gen contracting (unlicenced), did recons for water jobs, just bought a Water franchise a few months ago to supplement the construction business. Just like you said, everything revolves around my name & reputation. We try to mark up ~40%. taking time off is very difficult.
Did the water business overtake the Remodeling?
When you first started the water stuff, how long did it take for you to being involved 100% in daily operations, to let's say 80% involved?
    I appreciate all the videos.
    Thanks

What is your role in a restoration project? I have a restoration company and I do the dry out and demo, then have a different team for reconstruction. When we first started out I did it all (within the limitations of not being a GC).
You need IICRC certified people on dry outs, mold jobs, fire, etc. not just anybody can do dry outs. You also need somebody that understands how much equipment to use. There’s easy math to figure it out.
      Best of luck to you!
