  • Hello!
Link to video here: • BABYMETAL - Brand New ...
First thing, this isn't a new song, so please forgive me there! I thought it was a new song, but once I looked up it and saw that it was a song from 2019, I was like dang it. haha However, still a really fun BM song, not so much focused on the entertainment side that I am used to from BM for their live performance, but the song IMO is not cater to that as it is a song focusing more so on Tim and Scott being there! Definitely let me know your thoughts for sure though! Thank you so much, and stay tuned for our next video!

🤣 No worries, I wish I was there, would have been amazing! Fox Fest had Bilmuri, Polyphia, and Electric Callboy (debuted Ratatata collab with Babymetal too). And a few others.

Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅
Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound.
The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage, and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip.
Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments.
Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song.
The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc.
Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.
Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together.
They did it again a couple of days ago at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix.
Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it.
In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
    Next suggestion:
    - Monochrome live at Makuhari Messe 2023.
Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

They recorded this song in 2019 Polyphia were Babymetal's guest at their festival Fox fest in Japan recently so this was pre-planned before that

Last Minute us good. This Song was released 5 Years ago. One of the reasons why it probably found its way back to the foreground. Nany fans of Babymetal always fearwd that Babymetal would not play hard Enough. So while their soft songs have at times trouble to stay in the setlists, many of them stay in favorite lists. As an example From Dusk till Dawn is another such highlight, but not connected to any stars. The old Babymetal never bothered for Stars. This was a change that Su and Moa brought Back, when they returned to Babymetal. Many fans feared they would forget Metal after they finished their 10 year contract. But in fact they were nevrr forced to play only metal songs. But it was generally expected that they would leave Babymetal. But after some time on their own, they offered Koba a list of conditions how and why they would consider to return to Babymetal. And in fact it was obvious, that even Koba did not expect a big return. At first he tried to minimize the costs for his girls. After more than 14 Years together, they simply are his girls.
And we have to admit he concentrated newly on his old project and will have to do some work into some forgotten projects, while the girls can sail the old ship by themselves.

Welcome back. The song is almost 5 years old - it was always a 'chill' song - they have plenty of hype songs, 'Brand New Day' gives the crowd a chance to catch their breath after a few songs of bouncing round in the pits. They can go back to that again for the rest of the show.
It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen.
Tim and Scott provided the guitar track for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together.
    They did not disappoint!

Yeah! I saw that after making the recording that the song had been around for a while, but glad to see it all come together! I always enjoy seeing features on songs happen live, and I always think it is going to happen especially at music festivals when bands that have worked with each other are around each other again!

The fast songs are the easiest because you don't notice when there's a screw up, where you notice flaws in slow songs.

    • @panicmanicyt
      @panicmanicyt  Před 7 dny

Yeah, I can see that. It is like if I listened to Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers, I would be able to hear a mistake during the lead of the guitar in that song, but fast songs, I never would catch it unless it was something so different from what was being played.

    👍 👍
Easily one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs.
Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it.
Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows.
BABYMETAL is THE best LIVE band on the planet
Metal Kingdom LIVE at PIA ARENA HQ Pro Shot from the For The Fox God channel (20,000+ sold out crowd chants in unison with the girls)

I agree! I definitely have an appreciation for her vocals, and it is starting to grow more on me as I check out each BM song! That would be so cool to see! I always love crowd participation, and when the band just stops playing and has the crowd take it, oh my, it is just great to be a part of!
