Imagine a collab between Tim, Scott and Synyster Gates. how fucking up the riff game would be
crazy talk right there i can see it.
Gates wouldn't know what to do 😂
A7X Polyphia collab when?!🔥
Literally tomorrow
@@OfficialTygo you mean the show?
@@OfficialTygo i was there in amsterdam.
Polyphia did open, but i am pretty sure they did not enter the stage during A7X's setlist.
@@xSTONYTARKx you're right idk why i wrote that i was probably high as shit afterwards when i commented that.
YES! They need to make a song together. Imagine Polyphia's amazing riffs and then just a monster of a shredder solo from Synyster Gates on the track. They could make an amazing song.
Its always nice to hear from Tim and Scott they should interview more often
These guys changed the guitar game in a way like Eddie Van Halen did. Just when you thought there’s nothing more to do with guitar then something fresh comes out.
facts
Agreed
Wrong. Vocal/Lyric-less masturbatory guitar jack off songs that all sound the same isn’t changing “the guitar game”, smooth brain. It’s perpetuating the downward spiral of modern guitar via the YT trend of technique over everything else. All flash, no feeling. These guys are guitar memes, nothing else.
Lol, when you find the Boomer in the comments who hasn't seen a good guitarist since Van Halen...
This style of playing has been on the rise for the last 15 years...
Just goes to show, there was probably a thousand Van Halen's before Van Halen, the internet just wasn't there to document it.
@user-eh1vp3ev3c The most popular guitarists aren't always the most talented. Popularity involves a lot of other factors like looks, marketing, luck, etc. But bringing this style into the mainstream counts as innovation imo. It's not easy to do. And 15 years isn't that long really
dude that canon in D video unlocked a core memory for me
Very wild to see “18 years ago” beneath when i searched it. And crazy how virality has changed in that time.
I WISH i could be at that show. Syn, Zacky, Tim and Scott. Sickest solo moments ever. Really hoping these guys do more shows Polyphia and A7X is like a dream come true combo.
Absolutely love that shot of Jimmy in the background!! 💪
Tbh can't get my eyes off of that
Very pleased to find this connection between Polyphia and Invent Animate
timestamp?
Syn and Zack vs Scott and Tim in the form of a song would be fucking gnarly
Thanks a ton for the Interview with Tim and Scott, you guys kick tail.
The intro is so cool. I'll never stop talking about it
We need a tour with polyphia, next time your in Quebec please bring them with you. You guys are literally my two favorite bands and seeing both of you together would be fucking unbelievable. Wish I could have make it across the ocean to see that loll
My two favorite bands finally together ❤
Tim mentioning COB made my day, dunno why
Didn't expect this colab! Would be nice if yall interviewd Chon as well!
It's hard to tell you this but Chon's dead buddy... :(
Damn them shouting out all of those deathcore bands really brought me back - all of my favorites growing up!
I was thinking of canon in D when they started talking about guitar on CZcams. That and Victor Wooten were really blew my groups minds. We'd tall show people at school and watch it often. Good times.
Funny thing is that I used to play local shows with Polyphia when they were shreddy metalcore and now I play guitar for And Hell Followed With 😂
Holy shit that Canon in D video was the second youtube video i ever saw. The first was cartoon elves farting the song jingle bells.
Avenged Sevenfold x Polyphia.... When? 🤘🤙🎸
I want a Syn, Scotty, Tim collab so badly.
I’m about the same age as the ax7 guys. I know these guys are totally grown men, but I caught myself thinking, “Wow! These kids are so talented!”
😅❤❤
24:11 "What are you doing here?" Really needs the flavor info lol
See all of you in Amsterdam in two weeks🙏
I'm jealous man, gutted that I can't go myself.
So damn jealous of that line up 😂
Nice! Love Polyphia.
Scott's dad played lead guitar on HADES first album Resisting Success from 1987
i need these guys to collab with 5 seconds of summer dont ask why
Release lost riff album! Fans would definitely go crazy
Halo 2 was my fucking introduction to Steve Vai.
Tim if you haven’t had Plucker’s Hallelujah wings yet? It’ll change your life on wings!
will there be a video of the power hour... please...
and mentioning funtwo was funny lol he did play live with Satch!
dang I wish I could do power hour with you guys lol
1:08:38 tim's laugh is so funny
I live near Detroit so had to Google the Boxelder bug. I've seen them on occasion and they freak me out. If I saw a whole SWARM of them I'd lose my mind!
It's funny, my taste in playing style changed the same as theirs. I started out playing heavy music on guitar, White Chapel, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris(first 2 albums), Bring Me The Horizon(Count Your Blessings), etc.. and as I got older, I am now more into playing songs by Polyphia, or taking it to a different place playing some John Mayer tunes. I got softer over time, is what I'm saying lol. And I feel you Scott, I turned 31 in March.... Sucks!!! I gotta agree with Johnny, I wasn't very into instrumental stuff until I found Polyphia. I liked Steve Vai, but I wasn't into it as much as I am now.
I’m begging you guys to film the power hour game after Amsterdam
Musical colab when?
Great Dad
1:01:55 Milwaukee's Best?
Daniel from And Hell Followed With is my cousin!!! Dude's been fuckin shredding for YEARS 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
The "Polyphia Never Come Out" compilation actually exist
So they're gonna stay closeted
As an alcoholic I'm sad that "Milwaukees Best" and "Steel Reserve" or "211s" as it were not not remembered. Come on boys :)
fuck yeah scott loves halo 2
Snoop & Tim please !
Song title : "Rippin' Trippin' Sippin'" !!
Ok thank you !
R
+1 for Puffco gear
Not Puffco. It's made by Heir
Def learned Iron Man first on guitar, I was 6
Alright, before anyone feels some kind of way about what I’m getting ready to post PLEASE know that I gets down with ANY and ALL interviews done with Polyphia, ok? So in reference to THIS particular outing I have a sneakin’ suspicion that the interviewer doesn’t know the meaning of the word “prolific”. I’m just sayin’ y’all. 🌹(*ie)
Yup. Hahaha. Def using it wrong. Thanx for looking out. 🥸
🍿🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I legit thought they were like 23-24, but as a 29yo who gets called 24 a bunch, I get it and respect it. Skincare is the shit
It also helps if you have good genes for hairgrowth.
I come from a long line of bald men.
I'm 28 and already have receding hairline, so that makes me look older then i am.
LOL, All you have to do is be inside all day playing the guitar. It's the Sun that ages you the most.
the next generation of guitarists really scares me
I wish they’d let Scottie speak more instead of interrupting him or speaking over him 😢
Jonny is too old 😅😂
This interviewer is awful. Good job guys cleaning up his mess
Thanx for watching.
@@DrinksWithJohnny you're welcome, try not to attack your guests😂 damn
@@loganagolwbut it’s my favorite
@@DrinksWithJohnny that's excellent, excellent tactic. Make them uncomfortable. I like it. Gold star!
Come on dude, Johnny is great. This is the first conversation he's having with these guys - its a conversation - people interrupt each other in conversations sometimes. Keep up the good guests Johnny!
How the fuck are you depressed when your life is literally perfect?
Not how depression works man. It's a chemical imbalance in your brain.
most famous people who commited suicidie also had perfect lives
if they really had a perfect life, they wouldn't kill themselves....money & success aren't everything or happiness....balance & control, my friend, balance & control....
lol how do you know what their lives are like? Life is hard for everyone - even if the problems are different than yours
