Hey bro. Iv found to to be a decent truck. I did replace the fuel line for better flow. Stock lines seemed dried out and would run rich and then lean. Otherwise it a pretty tough truck. I will be making a new vid this season.
Yes your right. Getting a tune was difficult on this engine. I installed better fuel line over the thin cheap stock line. I'll will be doing a video on the Hobao this fall.
Hey show off I have a question Do you know what pull starter and from where I could get a pool starter for the 5.9 I’ve been looking on eBay but I can’t find any one that says it’s specifically for that engine and I don’t wanna buy it and then it doesn’t fit
Honestly l have to keep playing with the carb. I start with hi speed needle 2.5 turns out from close. I recently changed all the fuel lines but haven't tested it yet to see if that is also a problem. If the new fuel line doesn't make it run better I'm selling it. This is my first Hobao and I'm disappointed.

The hobao hyper mt sport seemed a bit lean on one of the needles sorry if it’s not fully descriptive I’m still learning how to tune myself lol
This video is all about how the engine runs rich when full and leans out as the tank empties

I tried different roto starts and the only one that fit was right from HPl. The 4.6 comes with a pull start now it should fit on the 5.9.

Hello..For the most part. I replace the fuel lines. That was a big part of the problem. Still needs some tuning.
