  • Why Antonio Rudiger Left Chelsea For Real Madrid. Is it because he deserves a pay raise.
Does Antonio Rudiger deserve a pay raise? In this video presentation, Coachila discusses whether Antonio Rudiger deserves a pay raise as he looks into his contract situation at Chelsea Football Club. Coachila compares the weekly salaries of such Chelsea Football Club players as Callum Hudson Odoi, Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic, Ben Chilwell, N'golo Kante, Saul Niguez, Timo Werner, and Romelu Lukaku. These players all earn higher wages than Antonio Rudiger. So, does Antonio Rudiger deserve a new Chelsea contract?
Further, Coachila argues that given the pronounced disparity between these players' salaries, that Antonio Rudiger does deserve a raise. While arguing that Antonio Rudiger deserves a raise, Coachila clarifies that it is not in his place to determine how much of a raise that Antonio Rudiger deserves. If the rumors are true, Antonio Rudiger may join Real Madrid.

Rudiger has been one of our best players recently, he definitely deserves a raise and should ask for one. And I understand his position of wanting more. But I also understand Chelsea’s position. He deserves one and should get one but I can see why Chelsea say that what he is asking for might be a bit too much.

The club made a massive mistake by leaving it so late, but that's by the way. It is indeed a very delicate situation. If the club gives him what he wants, they set a dangerous precedent, and if they don't, he leaves on a free.

@@ChelseaPerspective you are being unfair to the club. They wanted talks towards last season Rudiger is the one who delayed them. Its public record he said after the Euros. Even the other week he publicly stated January was still a while off. He is the one hedging his bets. Nobody knows if his demands are sensible. Also as I keep stating FFP changes come January with a wage cap. People need to get a reality check and calm down. I for one am not happy if keeping him means losing somebody else.

I think the club is willing to give a pay raise. However, not a raise that will set a dangerous precedent and cause financial issues in the future. Thanks so much for taking some time to watch and comment on the video. That means a lot to me, bro.

Nii your not paying it nor am I or Cochilla. I used too at that time I was paying 50 pounds per game it's now 75 for the same seats. It's not for us abroad to agree or argue. Those living there and going to games have more of a right. I think the majority of those won't have a player holding the club to ransom.

@@terrilouisemarsden2621 I think I disagree with you on this because, I am a stakeholder and for me paying a cable company to watch chelsea games everyday and buy merchandise from the store i have a say in how much Rudiger should be making. There so many chelsea Fans across the world not everyone can get the chance to get into the stadium even those that leave in the 🇬🇧 can fit in there . The money i spend contribute to the development of chelsea football club thanks

@@BLUECLOUDSTV not everyone worldwide contributes. When I lived there I was a season ticket holder Cup and Champions league were extra. I was in away and European schemes where you are obligated to buy. I bought programmes food and drink and a programme. I visited the club shop and spent money everytime I went there. I have seen pictures from worldwide of people wearing fake and bogus merchandise. I still subscribe to the matchday programme and buy merchandise and pay for cable. Others don't buy cable they frequent bars and pubs. Do you realise the club get 10 pounds for each match shirt and the club shop is run by NIKE? my current contribution is minimal to what it used to be. You are entitled to an opinion however you are ignoring as are others that if he gets a large pay rise then Azpi, Mason, Kovacic, Kante and Jorginho will want pay rises as does Andrea's. With respect which part of there will be a lower salary cap which Roman cannot contribute too and must be club generated do you and others not understand? All I can say is forget the heart if possible I would give them what they want but my head sys no. We can claim we are stakeholders but at the end of the day its those who go who will pay the bigger price. There are local ground tax in a high costing area. Lighting, Stadium upkeep. The pitch is high grade and its not free. Hotel, bar, restaurant, stewards, Police, ground staff all have to be paid. Heads of security, office, Programme sellers and turnstile operators the list is endless. And I have not touched on Cobham training ground staff and upkeep or for that millions being paid to Tuchel and his staff. A 75% reported payrise for one man is enough. There are fans in the West Upper who are looking at their season tickets tripled to 3900 pounds. Time to get real folks.

It took me 5 hours each way for home games costing me more than a match ticket. Hours waiting around bus stations. I cannot criticise My friends who still do it or compare myself now to them.

On another You tube channel panelists were slating Marina one evening then 2 evenings later are complaining about West View (West stand upper) season ticket increase next season show little or no semblance of understanding in what it takes to run a club. They also discussed stadium development who do they think is paying for these things? Our CURRENT salary bill swallows up the income from our 3 main sponsor deals and then some. The future salary cap will be club generated Income and a reduced from roughly 80% to 65%. This will be UEFA wide so players need to be reasonable to. With respect if Rudiger thinks a 75k a week payrise is a slap in the face then I'm OK with him moving on.

We are talking about good form for 10 months. As I have stated countless times nobody knows how FFP will be restructured but it will certainly include a salary cap. Conjecture by media what players earn is not a basis. Rudiger may well have a family etc. However the man on the street who watch the team and we are talking UK is now earning less than 10 years ago as salaries have not kept pace with Inflation. If he has been offered as reported 75k per week pay rise taking him to 10 million a year for 5 years I don't feel sorry for him having earned 15 million plus from the club already. If he cannot live on the 8-10 million after tax and not save the millions he has coming plus what he earns after Chelsea and German FA for international appearances then tough.
