  • Bowel incontinence is a major challenge for many people living with Spina Bifida. Fortunately, there is a treatment available called transanal irrigation (TAI) that can substantially improve bowel continence for many. Sadly, TAI is not covered by most insurances, especially for adults who need the treatment to be independent and thrive. As a result, it is simply out of reach for thousands of people who need it. We can change that!
Experts from Wellspect and Coloplast share more about this critical treatment, what we learned from a recent study we conducted, and why it’s so important that we push for its coverage.
