I never noticed how much the Pros move the left shoulder up and around to clear the way like you're showing in the video. I don't do that now, but I can guarantee you that I will after I practice what showing here. It's like you're talking to me in person.. I'll keep watching your videos.. Keep them coming!!

i really enjoy your videos. I am a beginning golfer and am somewhat lazy in "NOT" wanting to practice the exercises. that is, until today. every drive but 4 went straight. they either topped or sliced. I am done with that garbage and am fully engrossed in this video. i believe I have replayed it at least three times and also put it on my phone so I can follow the instruction while on the driving range. Thanks from Dandridge Tennessee....

Hi Clay, amazing comprehensive details on driver swing of about 38 minutes. Covering every aspect from the toe and heal, to ankles, opening up of hips and chest, movement of shoulders, the swing plane, wrist angles, the release pattern, draw, fades, straight drives, angle of attack, club head speed, smash factor, spin rate, dynamic loft, and much more. Clay keep it up, in my understanding of a bit of golf the video has covered it all for a driver. Your best drive with club head speed of 115.2, angle of attack of 2.8, low spin rate of 2485, smash factor of1.49 carry distance of 300.9 with total distance of 334.3 would be my target to achieve by February, 2022.
Technology does matter. I hope I have the right driver for achieving my goals.

Man, it works! I have a tendency of sliding forward, guiding the club head to 1 o'clock (trying to draw it), which causes an unexpected slice when I'm trying to power it down the fairway. Straight back takeaway and staying back w/upward movement of my left shoulder when I release produces straighter and longer shot. Thanks!

After some brief googling I found out that both Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus did/do this! Norman actually has a description on his site as to why he thinks hovering the club is a great option! Going to try this out over 18 holes tomorrow!

Yes, he IS actually hitting +340! But, even if it was only 310, consistently, it would be superior length. But, Clay is a Big Boy and That Trackman don't lie.
I've been using the TSG Sytem for over two years and have built my new swing, with Clay and Q's help. Completely Quit playing, as a right-handed golfer with hand-me-down clubs, over 25 years ago. Began playing again 5 years ago and switched to LH. At first, I was only getting 180 yards on the drive. Now, At 70YO, I am regularly hitting 225Y, and all my buddies get quiet when I get up to the tee. Am placing the ball where I want it and moving right on up to +250 this year. Started at 110 strokes per 18. Broke 100 upon using the TSG Sytem and broke 90 last year. I'll be in the low 80's in 2021.
In 2020, for the first time in my life, I entered the City Championship.
Finished pretty much dead last. Haha ..!... It was actually fun. But, I guarantee I won't be last, this year!
I'm a FAN! and have introduced at least 50 golfers to TSG.
And, yes, Thanks again, Clay and Q !!!

What is VERY noticeable in this video is how RELAXED ur back is ... no compression in ur shoulders, not pushing chest forward... i imagine at ur setup u feel an absolute relaxation of ur whole body ... almost like ur on the edge of hunching ever so slightly. I only wish we could feel how relaxed u are ... no muscle effort in this ... setup and turn really. Danger in all these online lessons is the fact that a "student" will see what ur showing and it kinda looks like this is pressured control instead of actually crazy relaxed so it happens naturally in ur movements of turning the club back with ur body ... finish the swing and just turn back (putting it simple) .. as it truly is ;)

That bro golf has us all messed up trying to slide to the left like that. When they say get over to your left they should also say you don't have to try to do this. it happens naturally with taught but smooth leg tension. The shoulder is following a radius around you so yes it should move away from that ball line immediately after the shoulders square up.

Instead by squaring up the lead hip, there is automatically a drop in height whilst opening a clear path to the target AND A STRAIGHT HIT. The wrist and bowing - it seems I have a long week end of watching and practising ahead.

Yes, he IS actually hitting +340! But, even if it was only 310, consistently, it would be superior length. That Trackman don't lie. I've been using the TSG Sytem for over two years and have built my swing, with Clay and Quentin's help. Began playing LH and only getting 180 yards on the drive, at first. after not playing for 25 years as a RH ! Now, At 70YO, I am now hitting 225Y, placing the ball wheere I want it and moving right up to +250 this year. Started at 110 strokes per 18. Broke 100 upon using the TSG Sytem and broke 90 last year. I'll be in the low 80's in 2021.
I'm a FAN! and have introduced at least 50 golfers to TSG.
      And, yes, Thanks, Clay!

Thanks!
