Never thought I’d see the day Maroon 5 stepped into the Folklore genre… they’ve literally dipped into every genre imaginable. From hard rock in the late 90s and early 00s, to pop/funk/R&B in the late 00s, to mainstream pop throughout the ‘10s, to trap pop and several collaborations in the late ‘10s and early ‘20s, and now this folklore song. Hope this next album’s good.
Sorry but they were never ‘hard rock’. rock influence perhaps. Adam has always been folk at heart but commercial success took their work elsewhere.
