Pretty sure the elo of the bot changes depending on whether or not you play an opening that is tied to a place
If you remember the first game he played against duo he played the following:
1. e4 e5
2. Bg5 Qd6
However, in the second game he played the Dutch Defense, and Duo responded quite angrily. Now before he played either of the games he read the description of Duo and it said, 'Don't make it angry' and right after it responded angrily it began to play with a much higher and deeper understanding of the game. Let me know if you think this theory is correct

As a German I find it very nice when Levy uses words like "zugzwang" or "zwischenzug". It surprises me how many German words are used to describe things in chess.
Easier to make it all one word in German I guess
Plus people are more interested in a zwichenzug than a "waiting move", at least in English

Just bought his book. I'm not a chess player but it will help me understand what's going on. This is really an excellent book. He explains thing so anyone can understand. It's a conversational style. Also, it's not like the other books which basically just listed moves. This book is a true tutorial. If others had been explaining chess like this there would be millions of additional players. Anyway, I'n outta here.
