This is my first time listening this channel and I loved this podcast. I have been married for 6 months and i discovered I had vaginismus on my honeymoon. it was very painful in many ways and as they were talking in the podcast, this topic is not something that you hear at church or in the pre- marital course at church. My husband and I, struggled a lot at the beginning because he doesnt know how to support me and he had many expectations and in that time trying to discover different ways to enjoy our sex life was not an option for him even thought I propose that . In the same way I was having expectations about the way he should support me too. Thanks to God I went to the correct doctor who sent me to a pelvic floor therapyst and I am finishing my sesions, I have improved a lot and we are still working on pleasure with my husband and he is more open and I understand that both of us have to be patient as we are learning and discovering us. Now I am very grateful for this spaces and podcast where we can comment because sexual topics aligned with God´s word are something I am very passionate about.❤

Papsmears hurt every time, but so did sex the 1st time. But I've found if they change to the smaller instrument it hurts less and is uncomfortable not painful.
I had a doctor after having my 1st child 17 years ago used a really big instrument after I had a C-section, I felt like I rode a horse for hours. Before that my vagina was very tight and took more effort to have sex w/ my husband, which wasn't painful but after that exam I was very open for a week. Then it went back to normal, thank God. I never went back to that doctor. 😮

It is always so frustrating listening to things like this were they say “women are like this”, “women respond like this”, “women like this” and none of it is true for me who decides how “we” feel about sex and what we want from sex ?
